The host were terrific, excellent communication without bombarding us with "rules and regulations'. The accomodation and grounds were absolutely beautiful, just as described on Stayz. When we fortuitously met with the host he was extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

A truly special stay.I stayed at The Studio, Broughton over Christmas and couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful and restorative experience. The setting is serene, with stunning gardens, open acres of land, quiet walks, and the gentle presence of birds — it feels wonderfully removed from the noise of the world, yet is conveniently close to Berry.The Studio itself was perfect: immaculately clean, spacious, thoughtfully appointed, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. There were lovely personal touches, plenty of good books to read, and a sense of calm that made it easy to completely unwind.Elizabeth and Doug were exceptional hosts — warm, welcoming, and extremely accommodating, while also respecting privacy. It struck the perfect balance.I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend The Studio to anyone seeking tranquility, comfort, and understated beauty.

We had an amazing stay at this overnight property stay. The accommodation was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully set up with thoughtful touches throughout. Our stay at “The Studio” was exceptional.Elizabeth and Doug our hosts were very friendly and welcoming.It felt like our home away from home.Beautifully appointed furnishings.Extremely comfortable bed, everything you could want for breakfast including fresh eggs from the resident chickens.It was such a lovely four nights away and the perfect spot to just BE!I will definitely be recommending The Studio to family and friends.Thanks again Elizabeth and Doug for being so welcoming

This was our second visit to Broughton Studio and we felt so comfortable and at home there. Elizabeth was very welcoming again and we felt entirely at ease on the property. It was nice to wander the property which we were familiar with and visit the chooks again too! It's so lovely and peaceful there - we needed a quick get-away that was easy to organise and this ticked all the boxes. We switched off the minute we turned into the driveway. Thanks Elizabeth for sharing your lovely place and for the generous breakfast provisions also once again. See you next year perhaps!

The stay was amazing, it’s very private in a nice quiet area surrounded by nature. Perfect spot to relax. The hosts are very considerate, they had everything I could possible think of needing available to use. Highlight- breakfast with farm fresh eggs! Great stay will be back

A lovely little studio type cottage in a beautiful spot surrounded by trees and birdlife. A short drive to Berry. Fully self contained with provisions for breakfast including eggs straight from the chooks out the back! Very comfortable. Liz, the host, set everything up and was contactable by tex (although there's really no need since everything was good to go).

The Studio was just beautiful. The owner has thought of everything to make the stay comfortable and relaxing. The breakfast provisions were extremely generous including fresh eggs from their chickens, there was a coffee machine with pods provided. The bathroom was well stocked with shampoo, conditioner whilst the fireplace was already prepared with all the wood so all we needed to do was light it. The communication with the owner was fantastic- Elizabeth was so responsive and did all to accommodate our needs whilst there was a vase with fresh roses on the table when we arrived. All the beautiful touches and inclusions made this an amazing stay whilst the area was lovely. We would definitely come back and recommend this stay for all couples for sure! Thank you Elizabeth for such a wonderful stay!

Hosts have been very thoughtful with everything in the property. From provisions for breakfast, fire being laid, wet weather towels to tips and suggestions. The property also has everything you need and was a perfect, cozy, warm, winter getaway.Would happily stay again.

An amazing stay

This was such an amazing property to stay at. We loved the beautiful garden, chickens, gorgeous little studio and fireplace. It was so cosy and super clean. The hosts Doug and Liz were so lovely too. Would definitely stay here again :)

Beautiful and cosy!

My partner and myself loved our little weekend getaway at Liz and Dougs' - the roaring fireplace upon our arrival was a lovely touch, as well as the complimentary breakfast (nothing beats fresh eggs from the coop!). We'd love to visit again :)
