We had a great time at the cabin. It was very clean and well maintained. The hosts made sure there was ample water and firewood.The property was beautiful with plenty of options to keep you busy.Bugs were definitely bad, but wearing the right clothing and using bug spray, worked well.I did find some ticks on my dog, but this is the woods and it’s to expected.I will definitely be back!

Amazing

Great cabin in the middle of no where!! Just like I wanted. Amazing sunrise and sunsets over the pond. Stars are amazing to sit and look at next to a campfire. Nice trails to walk through the property, rocks that are amazing. Then just down the road is a creek you can explore, cold fresh water, lots of next rocks.One of the best trips I’ve done in a couple of years.

After good communication with the owner we arrived at the cabin. We met a gentleman that gave us a quick rundown….. The location is somewhat remote. Saw lots of wildlife on the way to the cabin. We were disappointed upon entering the cabin It smelled like something .had died recently The pics are older…. There is no usable back porch. It’s rotten and unsafe. The screens are torn and missing. You couldn’t open the windows to air the place out because the windows didn’t have screens either. The cabin was clean on the inside but we could not stand the stench. The outhouse smelled better. We grilled lunch on the flattop and left Not sure about the reviews as they seem fake based on our trip There is definitely room for improvement unfortunately

Cabin is off the grid as it's described so if u looking for any comfort-its none. There was no water, lady offered to drop it in the morning but we already bought it. There was no microwave, no table outside just 2 small benches. Outdoor toilet was dirty and all cabin wasn't clean to standard. There is bunk beds no regular bed no fridge so bring ice. We couldn't find pond or creek but it was raining anyway. We spend most of the time in Phillips for food.

There is only one word to describe our stay. Perfect! Was exactly what we were looking for! Quite, clean, and exactly as described. Communication was top notch! We explored the property and the surrounding areas relaxing in the beauty of the fall colors. Thanks again

Secluded & relaxing getaway for nature lovers

I booked a stay at Kristy’s cabin for a long weekend. It was fun to get away from the city for a couple days, unplug, and connect with nature. Kristy’s property was everything it was advertised to be. She was a wonderful and responsive host, generously offering the experience to feed the farm animals and to take the kayaks out for a spin on the pond. It was super convenient to be able to bring our dog along on the trip. All three of us had the best time! Plenty of hiking trails to keep us busy! We visited in June so my advice if you are visiting over the summer is to make sure to pack extra bug spray and long sleeves/pants/socks. The cabin is in a very wooded area, so bugs are to be expected! The cabin itself was very clean, quiet, and isolated. Simple and had everything we needed. The bed was also very comfortable and I got a peaceful night’s sleep. We wanted to explore the surrounding area too and found a cute coffee shop and yummy burger place for lunch in Tomahawk. This stay was just what we needed! I would recommend Kristy’s cabin to anyone looking for an experience somewhere in between a hotel and camping. It’s a great in between option! Can’t wait to visit again one day!

Great Place to Unwind

We were looking for a quick get away with the dogs where we could disconnect, wander and relax. This little cabin did the trick. We hiked some of the many trails in the area (didn't even scratch the surface) saw plenty of wildlife and no other people. Enjoyed or stay very much!

Wonderful! We will be back!

Kristy and her husband Jim were amazing hosts. Kristy fully disclosed any issues with the cabin ahead of time. The property was just beautiful!! So nice to explore so many acres and have no neighbors or restrictions on noise. We took a drive back by the pond and got our vehicle stuck and Jim came to the rescue right away! Even went foraging too! Great stay and awesome hosts!
