My husband and I traveled to the Branson Area the last week of September for a weeklong vacation / fisihing trip. We found the unit to be very clean, the check in/out process was very simple, and it was not crowded at all during this time frame. The unit was smaller than it appears in the pictures, but that was fine for just two of us. The kitchen is too small for two people to use at the same time. In order to open the drawer where the silverware is (which is in the corner to the left of the stove), you had to open the oven door or the handle on the oven door prevented the drawer from opening. The refrigerator door would be better suited to open from the right for the person cooking. You can't load the dishwasher and open the refrigerator at the same time. I would recommend bringing some of your own dish towels/sponges as there was only one of each provided. There are a limited number of pots/pans without corresponding lids. There is plenty of table service provided. The bathroom is very small, not enough room for two people to be in there at once, should it be necessary. There are two bathroom doors to the bathroom (one that opens into the hallway and one that opens into the bedroom), and only one can be open at a time due to the limited space. It was fine for us, but had we had another guest or two with us, it would have been different. The bed that pulled down from the wall was convenient and comfy. The view of the lake was beautiful even though the lake was 6-8 feet lower than normal. It would have been nice had the rocks/dirt been graded, to aid in walking to/from the dock. There was a lot of debris and what appeared to be old, unused conduit sticking out of the ground down by the docks. The docks have power and are covered and we didn't worry about anyone messing with our boat or equipment although we did remove anything of significant value every evening, just to be safe (like our fish finder, tackle, etc.). We rented a golf cart which was convenient to drive around for a different view of the scenery. The biggest drawback to this site is there was a very strong sewer smell that was evident from the parking lot, walking up from the lake or around the specific building our unit was in. We were able to hear the family above us and their kids running and neighbors next door talking but it wasn't disturbing. There was a lot of construction going on during the week as new condos are being built nearby.
