Amazing stay!

This was our first time visiting AMI and we loved it! The house we rented was perfect for our large group of 17 (7 adults/10 kids). It was key that every bedroom had it's own bathroom. We also really appreciated the double sets of washer and dryers. I will mention though that other than some basic items like toilet paper, a roll of paper towels, tissues, etc. to get you started, there really is nothing extra included as far as food prep goes. I would suggest adding a few baking sheets for oven use. Also, providing salt, pepper, and sugar would be nice. We have stayed at other properties that have provided this.The pool and outside living area was great. The kids swam a ton and all the adults enjoyed just hanging out. We had to fill the pool multiple times because the water level was getting low, but I'm sure a lot of that was because the kids swam so much! It was also super convenient and nice being so close to the beach. It was literally a two to three minute walk from the rental. A lot of beach equipment was included. However, there were only two umbrellas for use, so if you have a large group of people and want more shading on the beach, you will need to purchase or bring your own coverage. There are lots of places to eat on the island but we did find it a bit challenging to get into places with our size group. We did a lot of grilling and eating at the rental. Overall, it was a great trip and we plan to visit AMI again! Thanks for the memories!

Needs Some TLC

Home was clean enough (LVF floors vacuumed but in need of a good washing), well decorated, close to beach. Layout (every bedroom is an ensuite) worked well for our family group. As for the kitchen, there were 5 plastic wine glasses (no glass ones), and not enough of any other same-sized glasses for a home of its size. Our group was 11 adults and three infants. The dishwasher wheels were broken, and the drier function produced a burning smell, rendering it unusable. The kitchen faucet, probably broken, did not have a stream-only function; it always sprayed. The upstairs washer also was moldy and unusable. There were missing lightbulbs, a broken toilet seat, and a broken dresser. None of this (except for the lack of glassware and the D/W) impacted our enjoyment of the home. Our main complaint is that it took 3 times over two days (of a 5 day rental) to get a response from the management company. When someone finally responded they claimed they didn't receive the messages, even though we used the email and phone number provided on the welcome card in the home. The directions for the pool in the in-home booklet didn't match how the pool really operated, and we never did get the spa blowers to work. The management company finally delivered extra wine glasses, but not the plastic ones suitable for poolside use. Nor did they send anyone over to look at the dishwasher. For the price, the house should be better maintained.

Beautiful Vacation Home

Our stay at this beautiful home was perfect! Rented this home to celebrate friends turning 40 together. The house has everything you need! It’s very close to restaurants, the grocery store and is across the street from the beach.

Amazing Weekend!!

It was an awesome home and location. We had family from all over the US to come watch my grandson play ball at IMG Academy. We had some Seniors that came over for a huge cookout and it was lots of room for all. This home made our Senior night special!!! We loved our stay and will be back again!

Amazing location and home for a gathering!

We had 3 families and grandma to celebrate her birthday. This house was perfectly perfect! We’ve rented lots of vacation homes and this one is at the top of my list,. The home literally has everything one needs for a beach trip. Each bedroom/bathroom was well equipped with linens.. the garage was stocked with plenty of beach set up from coolers, chairs, toys and wagons along with plenty of beach towels for all. The pool area (equipped w/plenty of pool towels) is lovely along with kitchen/family rooms are great gathering spots for the family. The home is well designed and if you want some quit alone time each bedroom room is a nice little retreat. On our way in we stopped at the Publix, minutes from the house, and anything that we forgot we grab at a connivence store right by. The beach is a quick 2 minute walk out of the back yard gate, the lot is empty so it’s was nice not having another house right behind us. Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

The property was large enough for our family. However, it needs some serious maintenance. The washer on the upstairs was full of black mold and made non usable. The pool area was hard to get to because the door stuck and the water temp was tooo high.

Wonderful rental home for a large group!

This is the ideal vacation home for a large family reunion. My parents, along with their four children and their families all stayed in this beautiful home for a week. The huge living/dining area was great for family dinners. If anyone needed privacy, each bedroom featured a TV as well as an en suite bathroom. The house is only a short 5-minute walk to the beach, or you can relax in the resort-style pool (complete with splash pad, seated area and spa). I can't recommend a better rental on Anna Maria Island!

February Vacation

First, the property manager, Kristi, was fantastic! She communicated with us before the trip, during the trip and checking out. It was the best we've experienced. Second, the property is exactly as described. It is in a great location! It was very clean and well-appointed. Although in a close neighborhood, it felt private. Third, we did not have any issues with water pressure. It was fine. Finally, for tech people like us, it's worth mentioning that the internet speed was the best we've had at any rental. Granted we had a small group, but no one had any issues. Overall, this is gem! We look forward to returning!
