Perfect for exclusive rental by extended families or groups of friends alike, everyone will find a corner of our 40 acres to fall in love with. Enjoy the huge garden with orchard, herbs, terraces, BBQ and luxury heated pool that has 13 hours of sun a day. The courtyard is bordered by beautiful 13th century barns and our woods with trails, swings and dens plus our meadows provide fun and interest for all ages. The imposing restored stone farmhouse with its beamed ceilings and pantile roof boasts an environment that is both comfortable and practical. The large kitchen is perfect for cooking up a feast if the BBQ maestro is off duty. If it is your night off, can I recommend you take advantage of the sun setting over the Perron Valley from the south terrace, curl up with a book or game in the reading room or play a gentle game of boule in the courtyard? If you prefer to eat out, there are some restaurants less than 15 minutes away. The house has fitted carpets in most bedrooms and in the sitting room.

We had a lovely stay at Luke’s house for a family celebration. Luke was very responsive and easy to communicate with, which made everything smooth from start to finish. On arrival, Hélène, the housekeeper, gave us a warm welcome and showed us around the property, which was much appreciated.The house itself is spacious, comfortable, and set in a lovely rural location. It has plenty of great amenities – the playroom, ping pong, and go-kart were big hits with the kids – and lots of room for everyone to relax and spend time together.Overall, it was a great place for our family gathering.

We had a great time at the property and was a great bass to explore the area. We drove to Carcassonne which is well worth the drive, we also visited the prehistoric parc which is a lovely drive. Bossot was also worth the drive with stunning views and also visited the zoo. St Girons market on saturdays is again worth a visit, Azir caves and the reptile centre which is probably less than an hour away again is worth the visit. Thank you from all of us

This rural property offered my family the perfect space in which to celebrate an 80th birthday - with ample room, comfortable furnishings and lots to entertain the children and adults. The kitchen is very well equipped and the dining and lounge areas well laid out for relaxed, sociable gatherings. We loved the pool - it was a very hot time in the region and submerging into the water was very welcome. We had a lot of fun. The gokart and table tennis were brilliant additions, too. Most of all, we loved sitting on the terrace with a glass of wine, enjoying the surrounding amphitheatre of nature - with red kites soaring above and animals snuffling in the nearby woodlands. It was a perfect slice of peaceful rustic, rural life in the sun and a super spot from which to explore the many nearby villages, markets, attractions and swimming lakes. We also took advantage of the nearest train station to enjoy day trips to Toulouse and Pau - wonderful. Helene and Sandro were exceptionally helpful with any queries and so so friendly. Do reach out to them for top tips / any help if needed. Overall, a memorable holiday in an old farm house that felt part of the fabric of the area in a beautiful part of the world. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Fantastic long weekend

Family stay

We stayed with the family (14) for 10 days in this authentic house. Rooms are spacious. Kitchen well equipped. Swimming pool fantastic and close to the house, ideally to keep an eye on the children. Closest shop 7 mins by car. Very friendly and helpfull welcome and assistance. All in all we had a wonderfull stay.

throughly enjoyed our stay , loved the outside area and the pool , children enjoyed the toy room and the facilities. Unfortunately the weather was not great but we had lots of fun playing table tennis and boules . Disappointed that many of the cafes were closed in the area so had to travel further afield .

Family holiday

This is a spacious house, able to accommodate our 3 generations of family, totalling 16, making use of the annex as well. The kitchen is well equipped so there was no problem catering for this number. The rooms are simply furnished but everything needed is provided. There are plenty of toys for children and of course the lovely pool is a great attraction.The area is very peaceful and rural. There are walks from the house, including through the woods to Aurignac in about 50 mins.

Huge well appointed house

Large bedrooms, and well kitted out kitchen. Plenty of space in living areas and various tables, inside and out, to eat at. Loads of kids toys etc if you had youngsters in tow, though we were 6 adults. Great heated pool. Helene and Sandro presented the whole place brilliantly, and provided lots of info about the area.

Perfect for Family Get-Together

Perfect for family get-together, spacious and comfortable, ample bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen. Tranquil setting and a large swimming pool that we all enjoyed. Plenty of outdoor furniture and large table enabling some quality open-air eating together. Lovely surroungings, birdsong and for us the right time of year to enjoy drifts of wild orchids. Housekeepers Hélène and Sandro gave us a great welcome on arrival and had beautifully prepared the house for us. Our holiday at Esbayles exceeded expectations.

Wonderful house!

This is a wonderful place to spend a holiday. Ideal for our large family group which included a toddler grandchild. Rooms are large and well appointed, and included a small playroom with toddler toys - a happy surprise! The pool's perfect, and the grounds extensive. Our communication with the owner and the local property managers was always prompt and helpful. And the local region is delightful. Highly recommended!

Great family holiday

We stayed at esbayles to be quite near chateau martory for a family wedding. Lovely old house with loads of room for family - well equipped & with a super heated pool which made the holiday. The house is set deep in the country side and the peace and tranquillity is palpable. I highly recommend a holiday here.

A generous holiday home

We spent a fortnight here with 4 generations of family. There’s lots of space and loads to do with badminton, table tennis, boules, swimming pool (beautifully kept and heated) and lovely walks in the vicinity. This is a large, generous house with everything you need (swimming towels galore, candles, mosquitos coils etc all to hand) and a very well equipped kitchen. Relaxing Holiday in beautiful Boussan

Esbayles was a perfect house for our 2 families to enjoy a fun and relaxing holiday. We were a group of 10, a mixture of older teenagers, young adults and the middle aged! The house is beautiful, spacious, cool , and looks out on to it’s beautiful garden setting. Badminton, table tennis were enjoyed, but in the heat the fantastic pool with salt water rather then chlorine was just fantastic - agreed by all the nicest pool we’ve experienced on various hols. We enjoyed cycling , running, breathtakingly beautiful hikes in the Pyrenees, swam in gorgeous natural lakes, enjoyed local markets and sampled local restaurants. The house is well equipped for cooking for large groups, so we enjoyed a lot of meals outside! Lots of lovely places to visit. Bryan and Eileen were a lovely team, and ready to help with anything. We would love to return to this quiet, friendly, beautiful house and part of France. Strongly recommend!

First holiday away with baby

I highly recommend the house, it’s really a unique property. The setting is so peaceful and lush. We seen the deer the first day we arrived in the garden and could hear the owls in the wood every night. The house is very big which was great for us as it allowed our 18month old to explore when the sun was too hot. Stair gates, high chairs and cot beds were all supplied and very clean. The pool is exceptionally clean and probably the nicest outdoor pool I have ever been in. It was great for me that it does not have chlorine but salt instead. The house really does have everything you need, fully equipped kitchen, tv, toys, sun umbrellas, washing machines. There’s also a supermarket really near. There are a few spiders and creepy crawlies but this is to be expected. Insects were not a problem for us at all during our stay. Definitely plan on returning.

Gorgeous situation and well equipped.

This was a working team building trip for a group of 12. We loved our stay at Esbayles. The property is very well equipped - we ate in every night taking it in turns to cook and everything we needed was to hand. Bathrooms etc all modern and great water pressure. The pool and the views from the pool were to die for. There was also fabulous walking in the hills around the property. You do need a car though - there is nothing in the immediate vicinity, not even a cafe. However there are great facilities in the local towns.

Great property, spacious with lots of character.

We had a fantastic 10 day holiday at Esbayles. As a large family group of 14, with ages ranging from 5 to 75 this place was perfect, with something for everyone. The children particularly loved the swimming pool, The location was lovely and private with large grounds to enjoy and with various tracks direct from the house for running and walking. During our stay we enjoyed a village fete in nearby Aurignac, days trips to Carcassonne and Toulouse , a day on a swimming lake at Bologne-sur-Guesse and the local market at Cazeres. The secluded location offers a great night sky and our stay luckily coincided with a meteor shower. The house was also the perfect viewing spot for the impressive thunder and lightning display we had on our last evening. The housekeepers Eileen and Bryan were very helpful and on hand to help us with any queries. Luke, the owner, was great with his communications, always responding quickly and provided plenty of information about the stay. We had a lovely holiday at Esbayles.

Fantastic place to stay if you are looking for a big group getaway

The house is brilliant. We stayed with four couples for a nearby wedding but there was easily space for 2 more couples, and families as well. The pool area is great and the outdoor dining areas are fantastic. I don’t think the pictures do it justice. The communal dining area is very smart with a great large table, the kitchen is a little bit dated but does what it needs to do. The 2 big fridges were very useful. It is very remote. So I would recommend booking taxis very early!

We very much enjoyed our stay here and the house contained everything we needed. The spot is very quiet with lovely grounds. The house was a little chilly inside for May, but I imagine this would be welcome in the warmer Summer months.

Lots of space - an impressive house
