Mixed bag

Pluses were the location, nice landscaping and building style, size, cleanliness, microwave and small frig, and bed comfort. Negatives were pay parking (unusual for a place not in downtown and with plenty of parking available), pay breakfast for few choices and no lunch/dinner options in hotel, and no indoor pool. Also, with all the entrances from the parking lot, there was only one elevator for three large stories. All in all, though, we would consider staying there again.

Travelled with my parents to take a quick trip to Salem. Loved that there was shopping right next door, also choice of restaurants nearby. They weren’t thrilled with the breakfast options, as they are used to more of a continental buffet style, but it met our needs for our first day and we found the Friendly Toast nearby, which was a fun retro breakfast-brunch place. It was clean, had fluffy towels, but hard to rate staff, as we hardly saw any. (They only clean after 3 nights) fine for us, we’re not pigs lol

Good location

We stayed here to visit Salem for a long weekend. It’s a great location for that and decently quick access to Boston. Overall, the hotel is nice but could be better. The suite we stayed in had decent accommodations for sleeping/bathing, but the couch was depressed. Lots of just open space. Also, bring your own breakfast or have a plan. Breakfast and sometimes parking is not complimentary.

Excellent staff, pet friendly. Outside the he hotel was full of goose poop/ dog poop. Hard to tell. There should absolutely be a maintenance crew to clean up. There was no where to walk my dog for a bathroom visit that wasn't full of feces, including the sidewalks. This can make an animal sick by walking in it and or sniffing it/ eating it. I ALWAYS pick up after my dog so this was extremely disappointing. We had to drive off property and find a rest area for her to relieve herself.
