Foul Odor in room (smoking or mildew). Management seemed annoyed that I had brought this to their attention. It’s not what you say, it’s how you say it. Customer service refresher is in order. Elevator is outdated and does not work properly. It takes a very long time to come after pressing the button numerous times.

Property was beautiful. Staff was friendly, helpful and would call the cab company for us. We were able to store luggage before check-in and after check-out, as well as valet our car before and after. The shower control were strange and I would nothave been able to turn on the shower without my husband's strength. It took even him a while to figure out how the shower/tub handle worked. That is my only negative remark about the hotel.

Great location. Nice hotel, not great. Didn't try restaurant. But kitchenette has coffee and tea, but nothing decaffeinated! Vending machine snacks. Kinda dull. Gym is small.

Walkable location

Great location for Boston Marathon, old building. I had a very small room, "cozy" double. Service was good, everything within walking distance.

This property was in an incredible location for the Boston marathon. Close to the finish and exit for runners! However for the 3k we paid to stay only 1 elevator worked the entire stay, the rooms were small, the ac was struggling, and it was not a hotel you want to hang out in. For the purpose of convenience post race, you will be grid locked in if you want to leave! Plan way ahead. Otherwise if you’re staying any other time than Boston marathon weekend it is an older hotel and it is adequate.
