Relaxation on the river

River Mist is a beautiful chic cabin home. Our family enjoyed sitting out one chilly night at the fire pit and another night watching football on the patio with the fireplace. The views of the river from every room and on the dock was very relaxing. The house was tastefully decorated ( even decorated with Christmas tree) with every amenity you would need. Road leading to River Mist is paved, but at the very end it’s a little narrow, but manageable.

We have rented a few different places over the last few years and this is our new favorite ! From the decor to the layout of the floorplan ( loved having the porch right off the master ) to the convenience to downtown BR It was all spectacular. Brock the owner was very responsive to any questions and helpful. Making plans to come back next year !

Country Meets Classy

The house had a country feel with classy furnishings and everything we needed. The river provided wonderful views for our family as we were able to spend some quality time together. Beautiful location

Beautiful location. Peaceful and relaxing. The house is beautiful and the location is great. Only 12 minutes to downtown Blue ridge. I really liked that the drive to the cabin was easy. No twists and turns, since I get car sick.

Favorite cabin yet!!

We’ve been coming to Blue Ridge for several years and this was by far our favorite cabin. It is stunning, but still has a cabin feel. The location was perfect. There was plenty of space for our family of 5. The communication and promptness of the property management was fantastic. We can’t wait to visit again!

Fantastic stay on the river

Brock was excellent the cabin was excellent. We have nothing bad to say. Everything exceeded our expectations. We have been renting cabins in blue ridge for the past three years and this one will be the one we rent every year. Well stocked with great towels and everything you need to cook and get started with your stay!

Beautiful and quiet

We stayed for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. The view is spectacular and the check in/check out process was very easy! We will definitely return with more family in the summer to enjoy the river access.

Lovely home on the river

My daughter and I had a great stay at River Mist and felt very comfortable being there by ourselves. We appreciated the cleanliness of the home as well as the detailed check-in instructions (for example, use Google Maps rather than Waze). As noted in the instructions, we had no cell service (T-Mobile) but the home Wi-Fi worked great. We didn’t cook, but the kitchen seemed very well stocked. The only drawback was the noise from the home under construction next door.

Perfect river cabin……

The cabin is beautiful and has all the amenities you could possibly need! We loved being right on the river. We watched geese fly in every morning to hang out right in front of the cabin! Great communication with the host. We would highly recommend this cabin and we hope to return in the future!
