I really wanted to love this place, especially because the host seems very kind, and it's a fun concept of a place, but we were unfortunately extremely disappointed with our stay here. The amount of cleanliness issues and maintenance issues we ran into became comical. When we arrived there was trash on the ground in the kitchen, leftover used tissues, food and trash inside the pullout futon, leftover food in the fridge (and items that were available for use were all expired by 1 - 3 years), and the appliances / furniture were absolutely filthy. The projector was having issues in the movie room, remotes weren't working, the kitchen sink was completely unusable. When we turned it on water literally shoots out and sprays you. Even if that was working, the sink wouldn't drain water. And those are just the main things that come to mind. It's listed as an entire home, and I see why it says that, but you're in someones basement. It's as if someone put all their old and unwanted, clearly used items down there and let it be never to be seen again. We ended up leaving a day early because it just was not suitable for our family. I cannot in good faith recommend this place to anyone. It has so much potential, but it needs too much work. If you're an 18 year old college student hanging with some friends, it might not be a bad spot for you. But looking at it from a family perspective, we would not stay here again.
