The Lake House is a super accommodating vacation spot with five bedrooms and five bathrooms, plus a prime location on Lake Tomahawk, with access to the walking trail around the lake and the playground for kids. We enjoyed the hot tub in the back yard and the lovely spacious deck with lake views. Another plus is the dining room actually accommodates the crowd very comfortably. We had a wonderful time and look forward to coming back again!

Great house, fit our group of 9 ladies well. Loved the patio and large dining room. Loved the location that was right next to a lake with a walking trail and then just a half mile to downtown. Lots of parking was nice. Communication was great. Someone in our group got confused with the door and locked us out but we were able to call our host to get us let back in the house quickly. Also they were able to let us check in early which was great. They had a large hot tub that we sadly ran out of time and never got to use but hopefully next time! The kitchen was on the small side but had plenty of dishes, pans, etc and even a popcorn popper!

The Perfect Summer Retreat For Our Family

Our family enjoyed our stay at the Lake House! It was beautiful and conveniently located to several shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and breweries. We were only a 20 minute drive to Asheville, Old Fort, and the Catawba River Trails for hiking and sightseeing. The house was nicely furnished with comfortable furniture and was well-stocked with kitchen and bath essentials. The outdoor patio was a beautiful space to enjoy the end of day activities. Our host was a great communicator and checked in with us several times to make sure we had everything we needed.

Great Family Fourrth

Our family of 7 adults and 4 children, 5 and under, loved hanging out on the large covered deck where we could all eat together. The house overlooks Lake Tomahawk with a half mile walk arround the lake, the public pool and a playground half way around the walk, and tennis and pickle ball courts across the road behind the house. Our family was a little large with three infant/toddlers sometimes waking up during the night, but the toys in the house werre good distractions in the day time. The weather was grreat, good, and even when it rained we could be on the deck watching the kids play. The adults enjoyed walking with two of the children as they rode their balance bikes around the lake. The kitchen was well supplied and we had all the tools, pans, etc. we needed to cook for all of us. The owner was easily accessible by text and we had a great family time at this cool Black Mountain house on the lake!
