Great Value

Nice hotel near the city centre. Saw a few comments indicating the surrounding area was dodgy, but this is not what i found. Sure there were a few boarded up shops, but otherwise i felt entirely safe. Hotel was great value for money. The room was comfortable and clean - albeit a little dated, but they appear to be renovating the rooms. Front desk staff were friendly, and when i had an issue with the shower not draining in my room, they helped get that resolved.

Tatty and had it's day

Hotel was tatty and in a run-down condition. I'm sure it was nice 5 years ago, but showing severe signs of under investment. Air Conditioning broken/not working in my room. Hooks in bathroom broken. Carpet stained.

A great find in the city centre

Cant fault the place. Clean and comfortable room with friendly check-in/bar staff. Ideal place for a city break due to its location and at a reasonable price

Nice hotel in city centre with good breakfast

This is the second time we have stayed here. Both times have been pleasant. The staff are friendly but not imposing. This time the hotel had changed companies and whilst there were renovations ongoing to improve the hotel these didn't impact our stay negatively. Will certainly stay again . The best bit is the breakfast it's worth paying for!

The hotel was very modern and cool and the reception area was funky. The only issue was on arrival there was only one member of staff working who had to serve a large round of drinks before checking me in!

Poor hotel, mismanaged, dirty, and noisy

First they couldnt find my booking. Then the room I was given had no TV remote. Then the TV wasn't wired up. The new room I moved into had no heating. The room I moved into after that stunk like a dead body had been in there. Never again!

Enjoyable weekend break

Very good stay - clean and comfortable room. Excellent breakfast with choices of cooked and/or cold. Convenient location, short walk from railway station and not far from the canal with many eating places.

Up and coming area with lots happening,Birmingham as a whole is trying to rebuild post COVID. The motel is working hard to upgrade all facilities, so be prepared for a little noise ( but manageable). Staff were really helpful
