Great location , a short walk to the centre of Birmingham. Clean. Underground parking at £15 per day. Decent breakfast with pancake maker, eggs, beans, bacon, sausages, hash browns, breads, cheese, ham, fruit, cereals and drink options.

Oudated and cramped room.

City centre location is convenient. Check in and breakfast excellent. Staff friendly and efficient. However the family room was tiny and cramped. Sofa bed was unacceptably uncomfortable. Bathroom outdated.

Alright if you’re in the city centre for an event and just need somewhere to lay your head for the night. Secure parking and staff were lovely. Mattress was quite firm. Room was clean

Ibis Styles…

Perfect location for a gig at the Town Hall. Reasonable price, clean & comfy room with a queen bed (shared with my daughter). Second time of staying here, would definitely recommend.

Easy parking very secure. We had a show booked at the Utilita arena and it was 5 minutes walk with lots of bars etc on the way.

Good choice for a bargain hotel

Great bargain hotel, very well situated a short walk from city centre. Room was a good size with a big comfy bed, blackout curtains and no noise from outside - we both slept well. Bathroom is small but everything we needed was there, including a good shower. Will definitely use again next time we need a stopover

Sofabed mattresses - a real let down

Once we entered the room, we realised the sofa bed was really a frame of springs with hardly any cushioning. You could actually see the springs outline on the sofabed mattress. We pay to get a good night sleep and ibis hotels has got this fundamental amenity wrong. We asked for other rooms with a thicker cushioning on the sofabed and staff said all their rooms have same sofabed mattress. He offered us 2 joined up rooms so our family of 4 could both have better mattresses but offered it for extra price. Staff offered to get extra duvets to put on sofabed to make it comfy too. Staff were polite and well mannered. We cancelled anyway because we luckily found a room in premier inn (non flexi) for nearly half the price that we had paid ibis(flexi).

Really convenient for the centre of town. Staff are always great and breakfast was just what was needed. Pillows are poor so if you have a car I suggest you bring your own!
