First of all, thank you SoCalVacations for making our vacation more pleasant. As a management company, you provided a clean, well-equipped, and organized house. Without the two air conditioning units you brought on the second day, we would probably have returned home immediately. While they were not enough to cool the house to comfortable temperatures, at least we avoided indoor temperatures that were unfit for human habitation.
This is our sixth year using the VRBO platform, and we always select the AC filter. How the house became air-conditioning-free three months after booking remains a mystery. The house's insulation does not block heat, trapping us in an overheated environment.
We understand that the homeowner may not wish to repair or replace the two air conditioning units in the yard for financial reasons, operating on a trial-and-error basis. It is the responsibility of the homeowner/management company not to rent out a residential property that is unsuitable for use during hot months.
Additionally, the nearby construction site was entirely uncovered. This was supposed to be a relaxing vacation, but instead, we were woken up every morning at six by the drilling and noise of workers standing near our windows. Needless to say, it was impossible to sleep and rest under these conditions.
