Great location poor management

Location of property was ideal and even though it's an older property and kids had a blast running through all the rooms and playing on the hill. Asked for 1 hour early check in and was told no that the cleaners were still there. When we arrived at 4pm the driveway was under 2 ft of snow and we had to dig it out to get the cars in so there was definitely no cleaner there the day we arrived. There was trash piled up in the garage from the previous renters. The hot tub was 1/2 filled and not working. First response from management was they would send someone to look at it. Second response was it was broken and they were waiting for a part - so again not an accurate conversation. I was given a rebate for the troubles, but more frustrating is not getting transparent conversations. Just make sure everything that is being advertised is actually available.

Big Bear 2024

The place is a big place lots of room, let’s of entertainment, nice neighborhood, everything is close by, we had a lot of mishaps but the agency did respond and keep in contact. The down fall, they had a lot items in the kitchen that were broken, missing, and dirty. The agency had come to the house 3 different y times to replace items or bring them and it did delay on certain . Things like cooking morning coffee. The place is out dated so it did have a lot of wall damages side of a couch was ripped, webs all around and found 3 spiders inside the house, dishes were pretty dirty. But the beds and bed sheets were clean. The house is for sell so asuming there isn’t much interest in keeping up with the house in general.

Family Reunion

The house did not have air conditioning. It was warm when we checked in. The layout of the house allowed our large extended family to have the space for quiet time as well accommodate large family activities. The teens enjoyed the game room as well as the pool. The dining room table was not cleaned when we arrived. Some of the window crank handles did not work so we were not able to open the windows. One of the portable air conditioners in the guest house leaked fluid and gave off an unhealthy smell. We all enjoyed Big Bear Village and the 4th of July fireworks. Overall, it was the pool and jacuzzi that sold us on this location. It definitely allowed us to cool off in the afternoon.

Everything was awesome …..except

What a place. Lots of room. Lots of things to do no one was bored. Pool was nice. The only negative was the SPA would not heat above 85 degrees even following the exact directions given.

Misleading listing and photos of amenities

Although management did provide a partial refund for the inconvenience, this still does not remedy the fact that the some of the amenities were not functional. Especially that they were not open up it and still advertised these amenities as available. This property was booked because of the presence of a pool + hot tub. I selected to pay more for this property compared to neighboring one because of the pool + hot tub. According to management it was clearly listed in some fine print that the pool was not functional but the hot tub is functional. I was not aware of this until I directly asked for them to heat the pool before our arrival. After we arrived, we discovered that there is a leak in the hot tub, constantly draining, and the heat pump was not heating up the water. Management promised to send someone on Friday to look at the tub but unfortunately no one showed up and management did not follow up with us. The tennis court had many cracks, but nothing to make it hazardous. The house was beautiful and spacious, with comfortable beds. The kitchen was decent, was a bit tight but it did the job. It had two oven the top oven would only reach temp if the bottom oven was on. The bathrooms were well maintained, good water pressure. Plenty of parking space, huge driveway and massive garage. Pool table is of great quality. The furniture and finishes are great. If you don’t care for the outdoor amenities and want to stay inside, this place will be perfect. I suggested to management to openly state that the pool + hot tub are out of order. Instead of advertising this home with beautiful pictures of the pool and later report that they are actually not functional. I think that kind of practice is quite unbecoming and slithery.

Every one had enough space to be comfortable. There is plenty to do and plenty of places to enjoy. The pool area needed some sweeping and the pool filter maybe needed changing but over all no complaints will bookmthis place again

Big House But Needs Up Maintenance

Huge Property But hardly worth the money. Super dated. Needs repairs, beds not comfortable, couch’s not comfortable. WiFi comes and goes and is non existent downstairs. Upside is the game room, pool and tennis court.

Heavenly Estates Big Bear, 4th of July

Great property for a big group of people. Really enjoyed the tennis court, basket ball courts, and game room of pool, shuffle board. Plenty of forks and amenities in the kitchen. Carpets still dirty. Outside patio couch cushions were also very dirty, I tried to hose them off to no avail. The hot tub was full of bees. The pool had algae when we arrived and by time we left it was a total swamp. When we informed WOW rentals of the pool, we were told it happens this time of year, and received no apologies for conditions. Seems to me they should be inspecting it before their guests arrive! The property has great potential- but definelty not well maintained. Definitely not the same as the pictures they posted on line.

Big comfortable house & property.

Big beautiful home that housed 11 of us very comfortably. Lots to keep adults & kids entertained. Could use a little updating & a couple hours with a handyman, but nothing that detracted from our stay.

Great property

This is a great house for large family groups. Lots of separate spaces and our kids loved the shuffleboard, pool table and tennis court. Small pool but jacuzzi is very large. The beds were so comfortable and linens were first class. The kids loved this place!

Weekend with family and friends.

The house is realy beautiful very clean and very comfortable . The kids had so much fun in the game room actually we spend a lot of time there. The location is excellent close to the sky and the neighborhood is beautiful . I really revomend this house and we will be back for sure.

Great family rental

A well located, well furnished, sizable rental that is perfect for a large family rental. Property management staff kept it clean and the check in/check out policy was flawless. I recommend staying here if you have a family trip in mind.

Perfect for our family!

We had 3 little ones and 6 adults. There was plenty of space to be comfortable. A lot to do at this property and the location was perfect and quiet. I would highly recommend. We also signed the guestbook :)

Great Weekend Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, the place was great and the size of the property made it so that the kids could play in the snow without us having to leave :) We loved playing in the "game room"! I will note that when the spa heater stops , there is a pump that starts taking cold water from the pool and recirculates it into the spa until the temperature goes down to the pre-set 59 degrees. Something to keep in mind if you are out in the spa on a cold evening. Overall a great place to stay, Thank you!
