Neue Inhaber seid August 2024. Sehr nette Gastgeber, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und hochwertig eingerichtet. Große Fernseher im Wohnzimmer und beiden Schlafzimmern. Tägliche Kontrolle bei Pool und Whirlpool . Pool durch Solar beheizt. Sauna zur alleinigen Nutzung. Busstation in der Nähe und mit Gästekarte kostenlos nutzbar. Beautiful surroundings and a great kitchen in the room. A light bulb was out and the clock didn't work, OK no big deal. After picking up my GF late from the train, we were greeted by the owner and asked if we wanted dinner the following evening. No cancellation fee was disclosed nor did we agree to one. After losing track of time the next day, we decided to go out for dinner instead. A call to Peter was not answered or returned. SO we found our own way. Upon return, we were told the bill needed to be settled right then. We were told check out is 10am and there would be no exceptions. We were given extra fees of 12$E each and told that we had "wasted food," along with burdening the staff to knock on our door 3 times. It was very rude and we left first thing, never receiving a new light bulb Peter said he would change or soap in the shower. We will not return

What an excellent stay this was! Exceptional. I would do it again, and recommend it to friends. It's a small property, essentially a converted farmhouse in a small village 5 minute drive outside of Berchtsgaden town. The modern & attractive apartment was spacious and had a functional kitchen, which we needed to care for our small child. The warm & personal service from the proprietor, his excellent chef and attentive staff made this an exceptional experience. Lovely meals by the pool, food & drink not typically made available to tourists; the custom-arranged and super hike in the Alps led by the proprietor; a much-needed glass of schnapps hand-delivered at the end of the day, when I had only mentioned the desire to another guest, made this a lovely and restorative visit.

Beautiful, private, pricey

Really beautiful rooms and property. Great jacuzzi, pool, and spa area. We had a wonderful and restful stay. Like other reviewers have stated however, the owners will try to push a lot of dinners, breakfasts, tours, reservations, etc. on you, and you will definitely be paying more than you think for it. They never tried to trick us or anything, they were just a little pushy. Just be straightforward and if you’re traveling on a budget, do meals and tours on your own. Overall, our stay was lovely!
