Check in process was not smooth at all and messed up my evening plans even though I communicated to the host that I needed all check in documents sent to me that morning before my arrival. Even though I did this, the host did not send me any of the documents I needed. I reached out at 3:45pm, letting them know I didn’t have the check in information, and the host acted like I was in the wrong and made me fill out agreements and disclosures and wait for them to “review” before I could check in. At this point, I was running behind on my plans because the host was not on top of things and didn’t check in at all. Later that evening, when I was finally able to check in, things were not clean. The bathroom was gross and had waste in the toilet from someone else. I had to clean the bathroom to make it usable for my spouse. Was not at all what i expect to do when taking a trip and really tainted the stay. Beyond that, I was constantly being texted and emailed inconsistent instructions and had my stay interrupted by a maintenance worker needing access to the unit. I was in the middle of a work meeting and had to be interrupted to let in the worker banging on the front door so he could lay out roach baits in the kitchen and laundry area. The guest wifi was also unusable and I had to hotspot in the entire time for anything work related as it wasn’t strong enough to load basic email. The location is good, but unfortunately everything else was a miss for me and I would not return.
