Lakefront Retreat by Wonderful Italy - Celeste

Apartment facing Lake Como with a balcony with a wonderful view, located in the heart of Borgo di Bellagio.

The apartment is on the second floor of a building without an elevator.

The entrance opens into the living area which consists of a sofa, TV, and dining table. The open kitchen has an oven, microwave, kettle, juicer and toaster. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed, closet, and dresser. The living room and bedroom have access to a balcony with a beautiful view of the lake.

A bathroom with a shower and hairdryer completes the layout.

At guests' disposal, amenities include a washing machine, iron, free wi-fi, and heating for colder days.

The old town, with its numerous shops located along narrow streets with steps, passages and arcades, is renowned all over the world and attracts thousands of tourists every year. The territory of Bellagio is vast and varied, you can visit the different lake hamlets such as Borgo di Bellagio, Loppia, San Giovanni and Pescallo, up to the top of Monte San Primo, reachable with a dense network of paths and itineraries for lovers of trekking and nature. Finally, Bellagio is well connected by boat to nearby villages such as Varenna, Lenno, Bellano, Menaggio, Tremezzo and Como.

The best thing about this place is the location with the beautiful view, close proximity to restaurants, shops, and ferry. The apartment was nice enough for the short amount of time we spent there, small but cozy. The steps were doable but challenging with luggage. The check in was all via electronic, no personal contact so depending on your preference…

Communication with host was not great. Asked about coffee in the apartment and never received a reply. Shower door was cracked and held together with duct tape. Couch was stained. View and location were the only great thing about this apartment. Would stay somewhere else next time.
