The staff our why we come back!

Bedroom was beautifully cleaned, lunch options good be better, was disappointed with the choice, dinner was lovely really enjoyed it. Likewise the breakfast. Unfortunately our shower tray flooded the whole bathroom but the receptionist sent someone up while we were out to mop it and leave us fresh towels. This is our second time here and we would stay again. I found the bed very low but I do have spinal problems. The staff are great and quickly sort out anything they can for you

Location is handy for cathedral quarter and CHS. Rooms not ventilated and road traffic noise bad when window open in rooms on front/street side. Reception staff variable but breakfast staff good. Breakfast good 1st day, but poorer on Sunday with powdered egg and no white pudding... :-o Overall, decent hotel, rooms warm location good

Hotel was ok - felt like a budget hotel like a Travelodge or Premier Inn. Bit tatty and soulless. No AC though and the room was like an oven, even with the window open and max 18c outside! Slept very poorly as a result. No parking either - extortionate multi storey next door with no discount. We paid nearly £50 for 2 days to park.

Great location , friendly and convenient

Hotel itself was fine. Check in was quick and easy as was check out. On retiring to our room we discovered an issue with the sink so a quick call to reception and Brian had us sorted out a moved. Room was fine, had nearly everything needed but we had no mini fridge to keep a bottle of water cold or any way to control the temp. For me, I wasn't overly comfortable on the bed which sometimes felt like it was one of those temp guest beds and was a bit uncomfortable for me with back trouble. We didn't eat in the hotel so cannot comment but we did have some drinks in the bar. Happy hour was good but the strawberry daiquiri was slightly more bitter than it should be. The biggest issue we had was some of the other guests during the night making a lot of noise including banging on our door after midnight and making lots of noise in the corridors but that isn't the fault of the hotel but the lack of respect from other guests

We were traveling with young kids. The rooms were hot, but it was very noisy having the windows open due to the bars out front. Would be a great place to stay if you want to be going out at night, not the greatest for small kids.
