Ok, but just not Manor vibes-Service not good

Breakfast served from 7am, but nothing out of ready until atleast 7.30am, not good when you need at 7am to be away early Waitress then takes order from group of 6 who were last in. Room was freezing and no way to turn heating up

Ok for a quick overnight stay

Room was cold when we arrived but after going out for dinner it was very warm. No controls to change heat in the room. Noisy compressor or something outside window which seemed to go on and off all night. Nice looking hotel, lovely grand hallway. Decent breakfast, bed was rather small for such a large room.

Lovely period hotel.

Lovely period hotel on the outskirts of Bedford. Good size bedroom and bathroom with all the amenities needed. Lovely bar area and the breakfast was fabulous. Would definitely stay again when in the area

Great stay, very pleasant, helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable room. Secure well kept site, nice looking English Manor house property - lovely grounds. Secluded, peaceful, edge of village, a stone's throw from Bedford and only a mile off the A6. Would definitely recommend, and I'd stay there again (always the best review in my opinion!)

Whilst the hotel is a lovely building in nice grounds, the corridors to the room were extremely cold. Unfortunately so was the bedroom. There was no heating on. I used the plug in heater supplied to warm the room and it did, after 6hrs and time to wake up. I do not expect to have to use a hairdryer to warm the bedroom to get to sleep.
