Perfect place!

Mas Blanc is just the right size for a couple, it has everything you need and is very clean and comfortable. It is a 5 min drive to the nearest station and then 15-20 mins to the centre of Barcelona, really easy to get to. It is perfect for those city centre days and then has lovely scenic walks on its back doorstep for those peaceful moments. The host Estela was very helpful, giving lots of information about trains to catch and places to see both in the city and also for the nearest beach too. It has been the ideal place to stay and I am sure we will return one day!

Nice place to get in and out of the city

The property had everything we needed and was very clean. Estella was very accommodating, providing good suggestions for things to do and places to go near the Airbnb. You will want a car as the house is in the hills. It is a nice neighborhood so you won't have to worry about a rental car though.

First time to Barcelona

Had a wonderful time at the home of Estella and Jose in Sant Cugat del VallĂšs. Estella was very helpful in giving me all the insights to properly visit Barcelona and not get into tourist traps. The property was very nice and I felt like a local. You will need a car, as the train station is probably too far away to walk. The pool area was very inviting to relax at after a day visiting the city. Estella was nice enough to provide me with some fresh tomatoes and cucumbers from her garden that I could use as a nutritious snack during the day. Would highly recommend this as a place to stay if you want to live among the locals and have a quiet stay after being in the city.

Quiet, peaceful and Clean.

This place is a great little getaway from central Barcelona. Far away enough to relax by pool and enjoy the peace and quiet. Close enough to metro rail and bus to get you to city center in less than 30 mins. Estella and Jose Luis are excellent hosts! They showed us everything we needed to know to get around and even gave us a lift to train station. They are really 2 wonderful people who really take care of their place and their guests. Will return again next year.

12 day visit in May

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely, cosy flat during May. Estella and Jose Luis were wonderful hosts who made us feel welcome and gave us lots of useful tips about where to go and what to do. The flat is small and cosy, but well shaded in the heat and warm in the cool evenings. The outside areas are lovely. It is very well equipped with everything you need. We had a car, which is good because supermarkets and amenities are not nearby, and it is a short drive to the train station for a 20 minute drive into Central Barcelona. The walking in the area is excellent and you can access all the forest trails from the house. Unfortunately the cable TV was not working so we never watched any TV and the internet is too slow for streaming. It is OK for basic mails and google enquiries. Overall it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay with easy access to lovely places in and around Barcelona.

Charming Neighborhood

We stayed here for 3 nights. It is a perfect little flat with everything we needed. Estela was a wonderful host. It was nice to come out of Barcelona and breath clean air! I recommend this rental if you like to stay outside of the big city.

We were a couple with 2 teen daughters traveling by car, so this house was perfect for us. It feels good after a Barcelona full day arriving here into the nature. From the metro station to the city centre it will only take about 10 to 15 minutes. But, just be sure you have a GPS with you always or you may get lost some times and yes you'll need a car too. Crema, the dog of the house made our girls very happy . So I would definetively recommend this place to future visitors.

Lovely home; Peaceful location; Very helpful, kind hosts

The apartment is perfect: cosy and well-equipped. The hosts are lovely: They are right upstairs, available for whatever we needed, and yet it the apartment has its own (distant from theirs) entry, so it also felt secluded/private. There is a lovely, peaceful garden with table and shade umbrella and we often had breakfast there. It is a lovely location: secluded from the city up on the mountain, yet the city is very easily accessible by transit (5-10 minutes by car to the train station, and the train is well integrated with the subway system so you pay one low fare to get wherever you are going in downtown Barcelona). The only drawback (not their fault!) is that both Google Maps and iPhone Maps apps had trouble locating both their home and the train station, so don't count on your GPS: be sure you have their directions to get there. The one time we did get lost, we called and Jose Luis immediately came and found us and led us home! Leaving your car at the nearby train station (free parking) is the best way to see the city: we found driving and parking in Barcelona very stressful, so each day we would park at the train station (only a few minutes away, but quite complicated: let Jose Luis show you how to get there!) and we would then take the short train ride into town: transit is easy and cheap. Highly recommended. Estela and Jose Luis were wonderful and kind. I have special needs (allergy to fragrances) and they made special efforts (washing the linens without fragrances) to make it safer for me. My wife was feeling ill upon arrival and when we came to drop off our luggage and they realized she was not well, they let her nap several hours before we were entitled to begin our stay, even though they were still cleaning the apartment. They are truly kind and lovely people. We have already stayed there twice, and we hope to return to Barcelona and stay there again!

Wir kommen bestimmt wieder! Die Gastgeber sind super freundlich und Hilfsbereit. Wir haben bei Anreise sofort eine FĂŒhrung der Unterkunft bekommen. Die Gastgeberin teilte uns wichtige Tipps fĂŒr den Nahverkehr und fĂŒr die Umgebung mit. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefĂŒhlt. Die Wohnung hat eine niedlich kleine KĂŒche die aber Top ausgestattet ist. Außerdem super viel Stauraum im Kleiderschrank.

Wir (Familie mit 2 Kindern) hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub bei Estela. Ein kleines, charmantes und sehr gut durchdachtes Urlaubsdomizil. Es fehlte an nichts. Nous avons passĂ© deux semaines splendides. L’ appartement est trĂšs fonctionnel au sein d’un magnifique mas et la piscine a ravi petits et grands. Estela et JosĂ©-Luis ont vraiment Ă©tĂ© prĂ©venants, disponibles et super sympa, parlant tous les 2 français. L’ environnement est trĂšs calme ce qui est apprĂ©ciable aprĂšs avoir passĂ© une journĂ©e Ă  BCN ! L’accĂšs Ă  la ville est trĂšs facile avec une station de train Ă  10 mn en voiture ce qui vous emmĂšne au cƓur de BCN en 20 mn. Amazing House and hosts in quite surroundings

Perfect location for couples or small famillies that like the lovely Barcelona but also to relax after a hot day in the City. The hosts Estela and José Luis - not forget to mention their lovely dog Crema- are extremly friendly and helpful. You feel very welcome in their home. Would say a car is mandatory as the train towards the City is Down the Hill - 4 km in small Streets and passages. From the station is easy approx 6 stops - around 15 min. Huge recommadation!!

Endroit idéal pour 1 couple avec enfant, piscine impeccable et hÎtes chaleureux.

Les vacances au Mas Blanc d'Estela, Jose-Luis et Crema Ă©taient parfaites. Nous Ă©tions un couple avec une fille de 7 ans. Le logement est petit, mais juste ce qu'il faut au final. La terrasse extĂ©rieure et la piscine nous permettent de profiter de l'extĂ©rieur et du coup on ne se sent pas Ă  l'Ă©troit du tout. Estela est trĂšs disponible en cas de besoin quel qu'il soit, et a su nous dire comment profiter au mieux de la ville de Barcelone. Il vaut mieux avoir une voiture pour y venir car sinon on peut se rendre Ă  la gare de train en bus mais seulement 1 bus par heure donc un peu embĂȘtant. Il me semble que Jose Luis peut vous faire un service taxi pour vous amener jusqu'Ă  la gare de train si besoin. 5 min en voiture (sur des routes un peu escarpĂ©es mais on s'habitue vite), 20 min de train et on est Ă  la place de Catalogne ! Notre fille a adorĂ© s'amuser avec leur chien Crema dĂšs qu'elle le pouvait :-) La piscine est vraiment trĂšs au calme, assez bien ensoleillĂ©e et trĂšs bien entretenue. Bref nous avons passĂ© de trĂšs bonnes vacances au Mas Blanc que nous recommandons fortement !

Nice play to stay and visit Barcelona and surroundings, e.g. Sitges, Montserrat

Nice couple that are very kind and take care as good hosts. We had excellent weather ( heat wave so early in june). The appartment is cosy with enough space for a couple, though shower and kitchen are a bit small. We like dogs,though we don't have one, but you have to like Crema,the dog. She now likes Dutch cheese.... All the touristic tips are presumed tobe well known, but the appartment is only 15min. by car to Tibidabo mountain, which gives a tremendous sight on Barcelona atnight.But in june you have to wait until 23.00.....
