Amazing!

Great place to unwind and get away! The creek is heard throughout the cabin and it was incredibly easy to bring in any extra water that is needed. It was very clean and just wonderful! I’ll be back:)

The Best Little Getaway

I took my partner here for a late Valentine's Day trip and it didn't disappoint. The a-frame is cute and quirky, but romantic and magical all the same. Everything is better than you're expecting, except for the toilet -- that is as quirky as you're imagining lol. If you're thinking of booking this a-frame, stop thinking and start booking. I already can't wait for our next visit.

Magical house in the woods

We spent here weekend and it was amazing, really magical place. We saw deer out of window. Cozy place to relax and enjoy your time. Read carefully overview of this house and instructions inside. Such a gem should be protected and respected.

My girlfriend and I pretty much just said “oh my god” over and over upon arrival to the Enchanting A-Frame. It’s beautiful, magical, comfortable, just kind of unreal. We are going to find a reason to go back to Baker City just to stay here. We love this place.

We loved the cabin and brook behind it! We were surprised when the welcoming committee, French Fry pushed open the back door and came on in! We had met Jess earlier in the morning while enjoying our coffee on the back patio! What a joy! Very relaxing space! We enjoyed staying in and watching movies as well!

Great way to unplug

I have to say I was a little nervous about the lack of water coming into the house. BUT I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to take showers, use sinks, etc. A great quiet location with just the creek sound in the backyard.

Rustic Retreat

We had a wonderful stay at the Enchanting A-Frame Cabin. Betty sent helpful directions before our departure, and the cabin had a binder which clearly outlined rules as well as some suggestions for local destinations. The cabin was remote and very private, aside from the neighbor's dog, Tess, who we were delighted to befriend (and was mentioned in the listing). Tess was super friendly and got along fine with our dog. I couldn't get over how well-supplied the cabin was with all the little amenities one might not remember to pack; kitchen necessities, bug spray, shampoos, flashlights, earplugs, matches, plenty of blankets, you name it! We especially enjoyed a diverse range of CDs, VHS, and DVDs provided by the host. The cabin doesn't have running water, but the host provided plenty of drinking and cooking water, as well as buckets for other needs. This cabin has lots of rustic charm and was a perfect getaway to rejuvenate our spirits.

Wonderful, cozy spot in the Elkhorn Mountains

My family and I stayed at the Enchanting A-Frame for a winter getaway and it was cozy and perfect for us. It is a bit more rustic than some places, but we didn't have any issues with water or plumbing. We were able to do everything we would normally do - cooking, washing, etc. It's a charming and cozy spot, near the end of a country road up against the forest. So glad we spent time here!

I can't say enough good things about this little cabin! You can tell the property is well loved and cared for. Betty provided everything and more that we needed for our stay which made our weekend that much more enjoyable. We can't wait to visit again!

Enchanted “A Frame”

Sweet place Rustic Chic Not a dry cabin but what we Alaskans call a damp cabin.Sinks and toilet and shower all had drains. But there was no running water when I was there. The hosts had supplied plenty of containers of water to meet all needs. But if you wanted hot water you had to heat o the stove.

Enchanting A Frame Lives Up To Its Name!

My fiancé, Mimi, and I stayed two nights in the Enchanting A-Frame and loved every second we were there! The fact that it had no running water was never an issue for us and the hosts supplied ample drinking and toilet flushing water. The outside space is perfect for sitting and having a glass of wine while enjoying the private outdoor setting. The loft area were you sleep was magical - loved the Christmas lights hung around the A-Frame for ambiance! Overall, highly recommended and a great value!!
