We very much enjoyed the hot tub and hammock - they made for a great staycation. The surrounding area was quiet and private. We tried to communicate with the owners a few times and never heard back but were able to get by without their help. It would be a good place for a family wanting lots of outdoor time.

Overall cleanliness was very good, it was nicely outfitted (could use more bath towels)Property showing a little age here and there but nothing noteworthy.I would recommend 3:00pm and 11:00am as check in/out time. For the distance travels and Austin area traffic these times would be more user friendly. We attempt to be very accurate in our reviews everything noted is minor in nature.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Hilltop Oasis! Not only is the home wonderfully cozy, it's fully stocked with all the glasses, plates, dishes, pots and pans, utensils, toaster, blender, and coffee pot -- it felt like home. There were very thoughtful touches such as a basket of pool towels, and extra blankets on a shelf for the cool nights. The weather didn't cooperate for us to use the pool much, but the hot tub was sure nice. We loved the wrap-around deck and loved sitting out in the morning with our coffee listening to the birds. Enough hot water for showers for all four of us, and it was nice to have a washer and dryer to do some laundry. We'd definitely stay here again. It was central to where we visited -- Austin, Wimberly; and only 1.5 hours to San Antonio.

Great Getaway

This house was THE perfect location for a getaway with my wife. The house is more than big enough with plenty of amenities...location is on the outskirts of town (but not too far that it's inconvenient to get places), so it's nice and quiet throughout the entire day, but most importantly at night...the pool was refreshing and the hot tub relaxing! I would recommend this any day of the week and twice on Sunday, already planning our next trip!

Great Staycation

We had a blast staying at this little country cottage. It was perfect for a girls get away trip. The pool overlooks vast green valley of trees. The house is clean and cozy.Would be great for a friends trip or a trip with the family.

Good, but not great

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was really nice - as was the pool but too cold to really swim in. The Wi-Fi wasn’t great. Tried to stream movies on Netflix and kept buffering throughout. There was not a Kleenex, piece of paper or writing utensil to be found anywhere. The home was clean except for the refrigerator. The inside had not been wiped down and had crumbs etc.,and the outside had tons of fingerprints and dried on food on the door handles.

Relaxing retreat

Quiet cabin surrounded by nature yet very close to the nearby town. Enjoyed beautiful sunrises and the sounds of birds and a rooster in the distance. Had nice visits from deer. Cabin had everything we needed. Perfect for a family of 4 with 2 kids sharing a bedroom. Master bed was very comfortable and felt huge. Bathrooms were nice and updated. Loved the hot tub but pool was too cold during our visit so we plan to come back in the summer. Perfect for day trips to Wimberley and Fredericksburg and Enchanted Rock. Would stay here again!

Lovely Home
