First-time visit to Auckland, so we did not know the city. The location was perfect for us as it was close to the cruise terminal and the core downtown shopping area. There was also a grocery store nearby. The rooms were well-furnished and very clean. The staff were friendly and personally ensured that a minor issue was quickly taken care of. Highly recommend this place as a great base to explore Auckland..

This hotel is very conveniently located for events at Spark Arena, about a 3min walk, if that. Also less than 10min to bottom of Queen Street and Britomart / Commercial Bay shopping. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. The only negative was the inconsistency of timing for room service, every day we ended up being in the room when they came to change the towels, etc. But the staff were all extremely nice when we interacted with them. Room size was very good, even for just a studio. Highly recommend.
