room wasn't too clean had to ask cleaning stafff. dirt in drawer and glasses outside door, called to ask for blankets, ignored, went downstairsl myself and the staff were talking ignoring the phone calls and when we went up to our room after asking, they never brought it. there was a weird smell in the halls to the room. i'm upset truly, you would think the kimpton would do better. i give 4 instead of 3 only because they fixed a mistake they made about check in time and my older sister still enjoyed

From start to finish the hotel was amazing. I was greeted with a complimentary bottle of wine as a gift from the lovely hotel receptionist. The overall stay was splendid across the board from overall room condition to the hotel staff. A must book hotel for anyone staying in Atlanta!

Midtown Paradise

The Kimpton Shane is swankee. It is beautiful and the staff are very attentive. We were on 11 in the most comfortable King bed. Right across from our room was a parking deck with the coolest deco design - it is practically a piece of modern art. The only thing I didn't LOVE about this place were the floors in the room - laminate look like wood - pretty they are, but noisy to walk on.
