John and Donna’s Hideaway is clean, spacious, and very close to all things in Asheville. The bed and couch were very comfortable and there were many extras included….coffee, tea, shampoo, soap,etc. They do all they can to make sure your stay is comfortable. We would surely stay there again when returning to Asheville.

Nice, quiet neighborhood. Very cute, convenient, walk-out basement unit. 2 full bedrooms. Not suitable for families with young children because of the electric fencing and steep slopes.

We love to come to this homestead. So comfortable and cozy.. It is in walking distance to downtown Asheville! So much to see and do and this property is close to everything! We love seeing the goats. The host are very nice.

My Aunt and I loved staying here. The apartment was so comfortable and I wanted to bring the sofa home with me. It WAS so comfortable. The home was close to everything we wanted to visit during our stay. I would definitely stay here again.

Very easy to check in. Quiet neighborhood near downtown Asheville. Only stayed one night, but it worked for us. It is a 2 bedroom 1 bath apt with a large couch in living area. Host lives upstairs and want to ensure you have a good stay.

Exceeded Expectations

What a great property. So close to all of the goings on downtown but in a small neighborhood, so quiet and peaceful. Probably the cleanest property I have ever visited -- sparkling clean! Super comfortable beds and large and well equipped kitchen and nice living area. Great owners, very responsive for the single question we had. Definitely will return if I visit Asheville again. Highly recommended.

Fantastic location in Ashville and very nice spacious house, very well equipped and comfortable. Walk to dining, close to groceries, close to Biltmore, easy access to highways when driving somewhere remote to hike. If you go up the hill in the neighbirhood, there are good views of Ashville and the mountains. The house had everything, even an ice pack in the freezer to keep our lunch cool in the cat when we were going hikng. The owners live on site which I quite liked - good to have them readily available if needed (though we ended uo not needing their help). At the same time it is a saparate entrance, so we never stumbled into them and it all felt very private. Perfect accommodations. Thank you so much!

Amazing stay, great location.

Cannot recommend staying here enough. The location is hidden/private but still within downtown Asheville. Place was clean and spacious. Hosts were great and loved how they had a book of recommendations of what to do in Asheville. First time visiting Asheville and it was amazing. Thank you!

Great time in Asheville at a Great location

The Appartement was just Great. Everything was in Walking distance, we barely used the car. We enjoyed the wildlive around the House, and took many pictures. In the Appartement we found Everything needed was provided. John & Donna were very thoughtful and we enjoyed staying at their Home.

Wonderful stay in Asheville

The property is in a wonderful location, with a short walk to downtown. Lots of room to stretch out and our dog loves staying there and walking downtown with us. We have stayed here twice and have already booked a third stay!

If you're looking for a cheap yet luxurious stay with easily drivable, and in some cases walkable, distances, look no further! The place was clean and incredibly well taken care of. Comfy beds, massive kitchen space, and almost every amenity you need!

Goat haven

This unit was spotless, well appointed, and very comfortable. It is cold in there, and you have to dress appropriately to be comfortable. The floors are painted cement, so heavy socks, or slippers should be packed! I loved having the goat experience outside my doors. I would definitely stay here again. The owners are very receptive to communication and feedback.
