Mountain Heaven

The owner advised us they had a larger sized property available in same location, and it was perfect. The location was incredible and peaceful! The property had trees down around it from the recent hurricane but they had cleaned up a lot of it! It was exactly what I needed!

cabin in the woods close to the SC state parks and hiking

We enjoyed our stay as the location was good for our hiking adventures in SC state parks. When we arrived we had some difficulty getting the code to work, however we had no contact number. We finally got it to work. While we know that we must provide certain products for our stay, it would have been nice to have extra paper towels and toilet paper available. Also, we were disappointed that the dryer did not work well. We encountered rain and we could not get the dryer to dry our wet clothes adequately. Otherwise, we did find the cabin comfortable and it did suit our needs.

Loved the cabin.Everything was great with exception of aunts in kitchen and my son sat in hamock and it broke from dry rot. We did really enjoy the cabin. Had to leave a day early due to a death in family, Would certainly stay again.

Beautiful cabin

Every thing we needed was in the cabin except ant spray. Plenty of towels, shampoo, soap, etc. Brevard is close if you need anything. The cafe is a mile away with really good food.

Good little cabin

This was our second stay at this location. The cabin is tucked away from the road just enough to give you that cabin in the woods feel. The location was great for us. The only difference from our last stay and this one was the central air was working on the cabin last time and this time there was a single window unit in the main living area. This was July and it took several hours to get the bedroom cooled down at night. Other than that it was a great stay.

Peaceful Mountain Getaway

Property location was central to the areas we were visiting (Pisgah/Gorges/DuPont). Brevard was 15 miles up the road, so convenient for shopping, gas, and restaurants. We enjoyed using the grill and the fire pit. And we loved coffee on the covered porch each morning!

Nice and tucked away

Had an excellent stay, the cabin is cozy, everything was clean and all you need to have a good cabin getaway. Visited DuPont State Park, great hiking to multiple falls, beautiful! Day trips back to Caesars Head and Table Rock are easy and Brevard is 10 minutes away for dining, groceries. Recommend.

This cabin is fantastic. I love staying here. Clean, beautiful, comfortable and amazing yard. The location is private yet close to MTB trails and hiking. Or if you want a cute mountain town, Brevard is right down the road. Love it here and so thankful to have found it.

Private oasis right in Cedar Mountain - Beautiful Log Home - Great Community

We had an amazing time at this cabin. Very clean and has everything you need to prepare an awesome meal. Bed very comfortable. Check in and out was super easy. Private location to relax and enjoy the cool, crisp mountain air. The hammock got lots of use. The locals in the community are amazing and welcoming. There is so much to do in the area and the fall colors were outstanding. We will certainly be back to stay at this wonderful cabin. We have found our new area to visit. Side note: no cell service which we LOVED ! Total disconnect is exactly what we needed. Wifi is available from the property.

Perfect location

We had a lovely time and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for our plans to bike at Dupont State Forest and to hike in and around Caesar's Head State Park. We shopped and ate in both Cedar Mountain and Brevard. As other reviews have said, you can hear cars go by on the road (not that many), but you can't see anything but trees. We cooked and grilled and had a fire. It was a great time!
