Outstanding stay! The views were amazing and the sounds of nature are wonderful at night. The staff is exceptional, professional and personable ready to help with anything. The hotel is in a quiet area with nothing else around it besides the floating restaurant which operates until 16:00 so we enjoyed relaxing, going to the beach, and reading. I loved every aspect of it!

Atlantica Jungle Lodge is possibly the most beautifully situated hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The constant sound of the ocean and jungle sounds made me feel like I was Robinson Crusoe. Ihla Grande is a beautiful island and this was an amazing rest and break from the world, just 15 minutes walk from Lopes Mendos beach, which is jaw dropping. Don’t stay anywhere else on Ihla Grande, this is heaven. But bring mosquito spray!

O lugar é incrível e a experiência única. Deve-se levar em consideração que o hotel fica em um local isolado e, para encontrar comércio ou restaurantes, é preciso pegar um barco. Porém, o hotel possui ótimas opções de comida e o atendimento e gentileza dos colaboradores é impecável. Para chegar até o hotel a partir do continente, verificar as opções de barco. Amazing hotel with great staff! We stayed for a few days after visiting Rio and it was perfect! All the staff were so friendly and helpful with everything. The food was great and it was an all round amazing experience. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who plans to visit!

Perfect!

This was one of the best places we have ever stayed! Such a great location and the staff were so helpful and lovely and the food and drink was delicious (try the moqueca stew and a passionfruit Caipirinha!). A great base to explore Ilha Grande - we are already planning on coming back!

Most incredible 4 days we've ever had

The Jungle Lodge is superb. Please take into account you are in the Jungle and therefore you will likely get bites from insects. This being said, you could not ask for a better place to stay, anywhere. Rodolfo and his team could not have been more attentive and helpful. They organised everything for us to get from and back to Rio, making it an extremely relaxing holiday. The lodge itself is incredibly beautiful, tidy and generally great. Being so close to Lopes Mendes beach meant we could be the first people there in the morning and have it to ourselves. Free use of the kayaks was also incredible for seeing more of the island. The food is incredible and highly recommended. Ihla Grande is a beautiful island and definitely worth a visit and if you want to see it, this is the place to do it!

Amazing stay!

Everything about our stay here was amazing. The whole team were so friendly and couldn’t do enough to help us. The rooms were lovely and fully mosquito proofed with window and door nets. The communal areas were comfy and we were made to feel at home. We had dinner at the lodge 2 nights and everything from the fresh fish to the homemade cakes was perfect, so tasty. Breakfast was also very good with daily fresh fruit juice, fresh eggs or pancakes and cereals and fruit. The lodge was located a little further out of town than we thought upon booking but was easy enough to get to by taxi boat. The beach we were on was lovely but a short 20 min walk through the forest brought you out on apparently the second best beach in Brazil. López Méndez - huge stunning beach. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Paradise

The service is fenomenal, the staff is friendly and welcoming and makes you feel special all the time. The food was increadible, some of the best ive ever had. Try the sea bass or the shrimp. The location is second to none. The only bad thing was that the AC was only on during the night. Because there is no electricity they run on solar power. But other than that it was completely amazing. 10/10

Gostamos muito da estadia, principalmente em relação às instalações e ao cuidado dos funcionários do hotel. Felipe e Tiago são excelentes!!! Porém, tivemos problemas com o chuveiro q não esquentava ou esquentava demais e acabávamos tomando banho frio.

Trata-se de uma pousada, numa zona protegida. a luz é restrita a certos períodos, não tem tv. Mas é única! Uma localização optima e a cozinha é muito boa. A companhia é, o mar e as aves, sentimos a natureza.

Séjour agréable, dans un emplacement privilégié

Situé en bord de plage, avec vue magnifique sur la baie depuis les chambres et parties communes. La plage de Lopes Mendes est à 15 mn de marche, et on y est seul au monde avant l'arrivée des bateaux d'excursions. Autres promenades / randonnées possibles (Vila de Abrao est à 2h30). Les propriétaires (francophones) sont très disponibles et de bons conseils. Bon restaurant.
