Simply amazing place to stay. Had absolutely everything you could possibly want, superb location and incredible views from the veranda and bedroom. Nothing was missing, will definitely return and would recommend to anyone having a stay in Alora.

Home away from home

Our stay here was above and beyond what we expected. It is a home away from home with great views. The kitchen is well stocked if you want to cook your own food. It was a convenient place to stay for accessing el chorro and accessing everything in town.

Beautiful property, really well-maintained and equipped. Difficult to find at first; probably best to try and arrive in the area during daylight hours. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Amazing house.

When we met Maria to collect the key, she showed us around. I thought, we may have got the wrong house. It was stunning. A huge comfortable, traditional space. The terrace is a wonderful place to sit and admire the view. The town of Alora is a delight. The only problem we had was the lack of a taxi at the station. It was a Sunday. We ended up walking which is normally fine but it was a little like climbing a mountain while dragging our cases. All part of the fun. A wonderul stay. The house being the best bit. We loved it. I am ashamed to say I forgot to write in the guest book though. Thank you Frank

Lovely Alora

This place is quite simply beautiful. The location is perfect and the town is charming. It might take a moment to adjust to the abundance of roosters and dogs that serenade you at odd hours, but really it would take something earth shattering to ruin the impression of such an amazing place. I would certainly stay here again and highly recommend it!

Fabulous

The house is restored to a very high standard whilst retaining the charm and character of a traditional Spanish townhouse, it was much more spacious than we’d expected from viewing the photographs, they don’t do it justice. It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped, the beds were super comfortable and the shower spacious and powerful. Whilst relaxing on the terrace with incredible scenes of mountains and castle it was hard to believe we were in the centre of town. Álora is a lovely traditional town, people are very friendly and they seem to appreciate visitors who at least try to communicate in Spanish as many don’t speak other languages. We chose this town as we were visiting Caminito del Rey, we spent 2 weeks in Benalmadena & 2 weeks in Álora, I wish we’d spent the whole time in Álora as it was far better. We would definitely recommend this property.

Very clean and tidy , plenty of everything you needed .Nice view from balcony terrace

The property was first class ,the only downside was no owner or English speaking person Was there to meet us .Had to wait 20 minutes in hot sun out side the property waiting to receive key. Did as asked to tex 30 minutes before arrival ,and rang outside the property, but the person could not understand us .

Fantastic house

Very impressed with the size and interior decoration. The photos don’t do it justice! This house has everything you need and more , with fantastic views from the terrace and bedroom balcony too. We loved also the town with its incredible number of shops and very friendly people. Everybody was helpful and put up with our poor Spanish. All in all this house is a real find if you want to experience life of an andalucian town with its charms and buzz (including the racket of the cockerels !). Will recommend it and would love to come back.

Sehr schönes und liebevoll hergerichtetes Haus. Der Weg vom öffentlichen Parkplatz ist etwas beschwerlich, insbesondere mit Gepäck. In der Nachbarschaft fangen ab 4:00 die diversen Hähne zu krähen an. Das nervt etwas.

Één rustig dorpje met zeer weinig buitenlandse toeristen. Wel een eindje van de playa's , maar de typische Spaanse sfeer maakt alles goed. De woning was zeer ruim en goed uitgerust. Kortom een top vakantie!

Das perfekte Apartment zum Entspannen!

Eine sehr geräumige, sehr saubere und voll ausgestattete Ferienwohnung. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse über Álora ist ein Trsum und allein schon die Reise wert. Aber auch das zwar etwas dunkle aber geräumige und zugleich gemütlich dekorierte Wohnzimmer wussten zu überzeugen. Dir offene Wohnküche hat beim Kochen richtig Spaß gemacht. Alle Geräte und Küchenutensilien sind in einem hervorragenden Zustand. Die Badezimmer sind mit großen Duschen und einer Fülle an Handtüchern ausgestattet. Die Waschmaschine funktioniert einwandfrei und die Wäsche kann auf einem Ständer oder auf der Dachterrasse getrocknet werden. Wir haben uns hier absolut wohl gefühlt und die zwei Wochen sehr genossen. Wir danken Frank und Pepi für die vielen Infos im Vorfeld, den lieben Empfang und die schnelle Hilfe bei Fragen. Muchas gracias por todo - lo disfrutamos 🙂

Great house, great host

We spent two weeks in this beautifull townhouse with our two teenagers. The house had everything we needed and is located central but in a small road with little traffic. Of course it is not completly calm - it is a townhouse and you can hear dogs and cocks and the little motorcycles, but for us this is part of a town. Alora itself we also liked a lot. Both an absolute recommodation - house an town. Thanks again, Frank

Wunderschönes Haus in toller Lage mit traumhaften Ausblick

Das Haus liegt in einer kleinen ruhigen Nebenstraße des sehr schönen Ortes Álora. Die zwei Etagen sind freundlich eingerichtet. Besonders toll sind die offene Küche und die Terrassen. Hier bietet sich ein wunderschöner Ausblick über den ganzen Ort, gleichzeitig sind die Terrassen nicht einsehbar. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war sehr freundlich und die gegebenen Tipps, v.a. was den Parkplatz betraf, hilfreich. In dieser Unterkunft kann man sich rundum wohlfühlen!
