Bad smell emanating from bathroom. Smell so bad it caused headache. Mold or sewage smell. I suspect the drop ceiling in bathroom has allowed water vapor to collect in the space above. Poor design to utilize a drop ceiling in such a space. That entire ceiling tile area should be removed and cleaned then sealed to prevent water vapor entry.

Great apartment.

The apartment was huge, clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. We were a little disappointed that so many restaurants were closed for the winter months but Alcúdia is a quaint historical town. Parking can be an issue but there is free parking on the street if you can find a spot and a large parking lot around the corner from the old city wall.

Apartment is fine, spacious, comfortable and has everything you need. The shower was weak. Breakfast wasn't very good but local cafes are cheap if you want something else. Overall I'd stay again if I was looking for a place on a budget.

Excellent service. Lovely location.

We arrived late on a Sunday after a delayed flight (so missed standard checkin), so we didn't meet the staff on arrival, but they couldn't have been more helpful. Did everything over the phone and we were inside our apartment with 10 mins (FAB!).

Right at the heart of Alcudia just outside the walls of the old town, and near lots of nice cafes and restaurants. Very very clean.Though it was a bit basic but the apartments are huge, front room and bedroom were both air conditioned/heated, cooking facilities available, also breakfast and the breakfast provided. WiFi was available in the bar downstairs, or you could pay €5 in the room. There is parking on the streets nearby.

Very nice holiday

We spent very nice twelve days at the hotel. Only one small detail was wrong - we just got only one small piece of soap for two people for entire stay. Overall, the level of accommodation is very good in relation to price. And the neighborhood is absolutely fantastic. We can only recommend.

Really spacious

We managed to get a great deal on this hotel so were a bit worried it might not live up to the photos, but it was just like in the pictures, nice big balcony with a lovely view of the mountains, big lounge room, comfy beds and sofa and good sized kitchen. the breakfast was also great value for money, i really enjoyed the stay and hope to come back again and for longer, would stay here for sure again (if i get a good prcie again!)

Apartementos Carlos V is located close to the old innercity of Alcudia which is nice. There are enough shops and restaurants around within walking distance. Parking is a bit more challenging, but there is a big parking a few hundred meters from the apartment. The apartment itself is spacious with a big living room and a bed room. There's basic furniture and there are basic utensils in the kitchen. The automated checkin procedure was a bit of a challenge (a lot of unhandy typing on a screen) but eventually we managed to get this done. We booked this quite last minute so we were positively surprised about the location and the size of the apartment.

God beliggenhed. Fik skiftet håndklæder, fjernet affald og fik rengjort badeværelse 2 gange på 8 dage - super. Køkken meget slidt med skæve låger, forkant af bord itu, vandhane ikke fastgjort, så begge hænder måtte bruges for at åbne for vand (se foto). Ingen kaffemaskine eller vandkoger.
