Our stay at the Albury Townhouse Hotel felt like stepping back in time. The room was very dark and overwhelmingly brown, with minimal lighting, and it really hasn’t been updated since the 80s—aside from the smart TV. While the room was clean, it definitely needs some care and attention. Several things were broken, such as the towel rack that hadn’t been replaced, and the toilet didn’t flush properly. Overall, the place is in need of a full renovation. On the positive side, it was quiet, the shower was nice and hot, and the bed was comfortable, which we appreciated after a long day of travel.

Clean and tidy room, comfy beds, sizeable bathroom. Everything you could ask for in a comfy stay. The omission of roof lights was odd, instead many wall mounted lights were in place. Did not detract from our experience.

We stayed for one night on our way to Canberra and if I had my choice again I would have chosen to stay elsewhere. The room was large and clean and the mattress comfortable but the room and bathroom were very dated. You couldn’t open the window (apart from it not wanting to be opened) as it let in even more road noise which went on for most of the night as it is a busy street. The best feature was the huge wall tv! The property was not inviting at all from the dried out planter to the right of the entrance to the very worn and sad look to the property.
