Welcome to Henrys Cabin! Located right on the beautiful Skootamatta River, this one bedroom open concept cabin has everything you need for a romantic night away with your significant other, or a family get away with you and the kids. The ideal spot for people who love the outdoors, with 30 acres to explore, there is a trail that takes you directly to a private back lake which is the perfect spot for fishing and canoeing. The cabin is located directly next to the E101 ATV and snowmobile trail.
The space
Henrys Cabin is a cozy 320sqft off grid cottage with all of the necessities required for vacation. The kitchen is stocked with all of the essential dishes and cooking tools required.
There is an electric cooktop, a kettle, a french press, keurig, a mini fridge and a BBQ. A duvet, pillows and throw blankets are provided (NOT sheets). Enjoy the evening by the outdoor fire pit that overlooks the river and you will see hundreds and hundreds of stars on a clear night. There is a canoe with 2 paddles at the back lake if you'd like to explore there. The wood stove is only to be used if you bring your own wood - the wood inside is decoration only. The heat source is an electric heat pump.
The washroom is an outhouse about 10 steps away from the cabin. Wood for the stove is provided.
Guest access
Guests are welcome to use the entire property minus the area directly in-front of Steve's. But you're welcome to walk the property, canoe the back lake and walk along the river.
