The staff are amazing. The 3* rating is specifically because of management policies and the weirdest encounter of being charged the equivalent of $10 USD before they'd allow checkout for a tissue box that we didn't have, and they couldn't locate. I stayed there for 26days, effectively a month. Staff are phenomenal, kind, friendly, helpful. Gate guards kept the place safe and patrolled at all times, cleaners were extremely friendly and efficient, reception was helpful and welcoming. Management policies resulting in...what I can only interpret as a last ditch effort to squeeze out an extra $10 from me before checking out, after spending $1500 USD for the stay, was absolutely insane. There were signs, a broken / slanted end table with a vase on it and a note saying you're charged $100 USD for any broken items, etc etc. It was obvious enough we just put the vases / traps safely in a cupboard for the duration of our stay. And still some weirdness about a tissue box at the end despite our precautions. A weird and avoidable ending that was just unpleasant. Will stay elsewhere on my return, which sucks, because the staff were all so cool it'd be a pleasure to have returned.
