The house itself is lovely and would be an easy 5 stars except that it took us an hour and a half to get inside. The door code did not work. When we messaged the host, he gave us a second door code that also did not work and then stopped responding entirely. The checkin information is outdated and the host's listed phone number is no longer in service so we couldn't call him. After another hour of online sleuthing, we managed to contact the Innsbrook security team directly and get a working code, but if we hadn't found that information on our own, we wouldn't have been able to access the VRBO and would have been scrambling to find last second accomodations for 10 out-of-town guests. Thank God it didn't come to that, but I was legitimately starting to panic.All of that said, we attend a conference in the Saint Louis area every year and would definitely consider staying again if the checkin issue is resolved. If you book this home, I suggest reaching out to Jeffrey in advance to confirm that his contact info is accurate and the door code is correct.
