A terrible view from the window. The hotel website advertises having a pool and a gym. Neither of these is built. The staff said that guests could walk over to the nearby hotel and use those facilities instead. That isn’t really convenient. A lot of smokers near the entrances.

Soon to be a three out of five.

Brand new hotel. Exterior looks nice. Staff were great. But you can tell that the amenities are going to be tired and broken in a year or two. Bedroom was very nice and super clean. And it’s always nice staying in a new hotel. One thing that wasn’t considered is the noise. It has the walls of a by the hour motel. Most notably is the shower pans. I couldn’t figure out what the squeak was in the middle of the night lasting for several minutes in the room above me. I determined they were having a shower. I stepped into my own shower, and sure enough, the shower pan squeaks when you step on it. Needless to say, coming to the Sandman for a good sleep, did not happen. My current review is a fortified because of how new it is. It was very close to a three, and will be a three in a year or so.
