The home was perfect, exactly as described and all the amenities you could need. Location great and in a nice area of Winnipeg. Very safe and beautiful residential neighborhood. The grounds were lovely and felt like sitting in the country i the spacious, treed, private back yard. The host was excellent with responding to the couple questions i had prior to arriving. Highly recommend this rental.

Bird lover's paradise

This was our first VRBO experience and it could not have been better. Excellent hosts, amazing location and their backyard is a bird lover's paradise. Recorded 15 different birds over morning coffee. Definitely will be back.

The place was awesome for our group. We even hosted a small get together and it worked out perfectly. The yard is stunning and relaxing. Beds were comfortable. Easy access to coffee and groceries and main highways. Enough parking for 2 vehicles on driveway. Rest on street.

Awesome home away from home

For us it was a place to crash while we attended Winnipeg Folk Fest so we did not utilize it to its full capacity, but since our daughter lives in Winnipeg now we may come back for more. The place is spotless, comfortable, and has excellent amenities. The owners are pleasant, available at a moments notice, and seem like nice folks. Would stay again

What a wonderful location and hosts!!

This was our first Vrbo experience, and it will not be my last. We were visiting Winnipeg for my dear friend's 75th, and this house was less than 2 km away. Great start! We had just under a week to enjoy all the amenities, especially the back yard and BBQ. Mother Nature accommodated immensely. Text contact with Doug, the host, was easy-peasy whenever we had questions. He put himself into the guest's experience and anticipated all needs, questions, desires. We fortunately were able to meet this very generous man which personalized our trip even more. It is a "homey" location with eclectic art which all ooze comfort and warmth. Will definitely not forget this wonderful visit!

Beautiful Home/Property

Beautifully renovated home, has everything to make your stay comfortable. Back yard is gorgeous and private. Close to walking trails, shopping, pubs and restaurant's. I stayed in this home for extended stay while an insurance claim on my home was being completed. Host's Doug and Michelle were amazing and so accomidating. I can't thank you enough for making my stay so enjoyble ! Thanks for hosting me and my furbabies.

Lovely weekend getaway

We rented this home for a girls weekend away. The neighborhood was lovely with mature trees and the yard was well kempt and private. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt very safe. The home itself is beautiful and there are many amenities. I would recommend this home to anybody who is staying in the Winnipeg area. The neighborhood is far enough away from downtown and the city that it feels quiet and secluded.

Perfect sapce

Doug (the property person) was fantastic!! When I messed up the arrival and departure dates, he fixed it up no problem. House was a perfect size for us and had everything we needed for a "home away from home". The back patio is amazing for hosting our company outside, with a nicely treed lot and loads of privacy. The HUGE main floor shower felt like we were at a spa and the linens were just lovely. We were able to cook all our meals in the home as the kitchen was well appointed. Loved being able to bring our favorite keurig coffees with us to use. The house has central air which was SO necessary during the heatwave we found ourselves in! Having the ability to wash our clothes was an added bonus. Thank you Doug for an amazing stay! We highly recommend your property.

Forced family fun!

Our family rented this home for a weekend to attend a wedding. We enjoyed the beautiful backyard, cute bunnies, and great amenities. The home was very clean. Our host was friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the thoughtful touches including wine, chocolate, and breakfast necessities. The kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfortable. Central Air was very much appreciated. Room enough for everyone to have thier own space. We would definitely stay here again and recommended to our friends and family.

My New Second Home!!

Our stay in Doug's guest house which most definitely feels like a "house house" was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The house itself was lovely and had everything we needed and more but the hospitality that Doug gave was what made us feel like we were truly in a home away from home. I manage short term rentals in New Orleans and definitely will be taking a few tips home with me. It was a perfect stay and I can't wait to come back. Thank you, Doug!
