Beautiful home

The house was exactly as pictured, and absolutely perfect! The fenced yard made life so much easier with the dogs, and the crates helped minimize stuff we needed to haul with us. There was plenty of room, and the “porch room” and outdoor spaces were our favorite. Veggie Wagon and Butts and Such had great food and were easy to walk to. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks for sharing this lovely home!

Sweet Cottage by the Sea

The Silvery Moon was a perfect cottage for our couples getaway. Very close to two beach access points. The house was fully equipped, comfortable and nicely decorated. Love the retro theme throughout!

Absolutely Amazing! Pictures don't do this place justice!

We we absolutely wowed over when we stayed here for the 1st part of our vacation. It is super close to the beach entry, and even have beach views from the top deck area! This was our first time to the coastal region, and we will absolutely be back! To our surprise they also had beach chairs, toys for the kids, and a beach cart to help transport your items. Everything was clean, and in proper working order. 10 out of 10 is our families vote!

Loved the Beach Cottage!

This was a perfect location for our family beach trip! Everything was exactly as pictured, clean, and in great condition. The house was also very nicely stocked, and we had everything we needed. We would definitely visit Silvery Moon again.

Girls week

Beautiful cottage - absolutely perfectly appointed and the best location possible! I went on a vacation with my daughters and we had the best time. Kitchen was very well equipped, the beds were super comfortable, the chairs and beach cart were wonderful to have! We grilled some and were able to walk everywhere!! Would love to stay again!! One of the best rentals we’ve ever had!!

The Silvery Moon / a slice of heaven

Wonderfully decorated with everything you could need. Extremely clean and well stocked. We have stayed at many homes large and small throughout the Carolina Beach area and will definitely come back to this home again. You are able to walk to most everything local to Carolina Beach including the boardwalk. Don't miss out on this hidden gem!!

Fun at the Beach

Great place to stay to enjoy the Carolina Beach experience. The property was amazing, very clean and organized. All you needed for a great vacation was waiting for you; chairs for the beach, toys for the kids, games, etc. location was perfect, close to two beach access points, downtown Carolina Beach, and walking distance to many activities. I plan on vacationing there again in the future.

Beach Trip

I booked our stay at Silver Moon for the first time, and the cottage was just perfect. This really is a gem. The home is spotless and so cozy and comfortable. My little ones settled right in. The location is literally steps away from the beach and also right across from Veggie Wagon. We walked to Ocean Grille for our first night. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and super responsive. I arrived with the little ones before my husband could join us later that night, and I felt very safe in this home. We would absolutely love to come back and stay here again.

Charming little beach house

My family of 3 had a wonderful time at the Silver Moon. I really loved the vintage decor and modern touches. The house was immaculate and conveniently located to the beach and boardwalk attractions. We really appreciated the storage room packed with beach gear and toys provided. Having all the gear readily available was convenient so we didn't have to pack our own. I would not hesitate to book again. We had a wonderful time and didn't want to leave!

Simply Perfect!!! 🌊 🌞

My husband and I stayed here with our three girls, ages in ranges from 7 to 12! This house was absolutely perfect! All the high-end finishes and touches of turquoise/blue made it feel so beachy! We also loved all the ship-lap throughout the main living area and bathrooms! We loved that it had an additional full master suite and an outdoor shower!! It is in an ideal location.....very close to the beach access with a ramp, for all the beach supplies. It was walkable to the boardwalk and the little nearby shops! Definitely check out the Veggie Wagon located behind the house. Our girls got to customize their own ice cream sandwiches, after filling out their little paper slip. Their Lavender Lemonade was amazing too! We ate at many places but the Ocean Bar and Tiki Grill was a great experience. We ate out on the pier, which was awesome! It is a close drive to Kure Fishing Pier, Fort Fisher and the NC Aquarium! We made so many memories in Carolina Beach this summer! We will definitely be back!!! There was just too much to do in one week! 😊

Beautiful, Clean Cottage with PERFECT location

I can’t say enough good about this property. We have been visiting Carolina Beach for years and The Silvery Moon is easily one of my favorite properties we stayed. The house is bigger than it seems with adorable design aesthetic (lots of cute nods to the cottage’s 1940 construction year). The house is thoughtfully appointed with a kitchen fit for a chef, spacious rooms and bathrooms, and outdoor living space (the outdoor tiki bar was perfect for afternoon cocktails after a morning at the beach with tired kiddos). The cottage is extremely well maintained and VERY clean! The location of this cottage can’t be beat: steps from the beach (perfect for transporting kid stuff to the beach), across the street from the lake, 10 min walk to the boardwalk (we walked with our 3 and 5 year old daily), easy walks or short drives to the best cuisine on the island, and minutes from Kure Beach. All this being said, the cottage is tucked away on a one way street and very quiet and family friendly. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great place, great location!

Really loved Silvery Moon. House was spacious, in great condition, and ideally located. Two public beach access points are very close and the boardwalk and town area of Carolina Beach is easily walkable. Lots of conveniences in the house including an outdoor shower (nice for getting rid of sand before entering), and ample storage space for storing bodyboards, beach chairs, etc.

Week of the June 2022 full moon at the Silvery Moon

This is a gem of a property: Charming, whimsical and welcoming in decor, furnishing, appointments and appliances. The beds were very comfortable and the WIFI and office area in the master suite was a super-nice feature. I did not miss an ocean deck or ocean overlook. The sunset-facing tiki bar was perfect for viewing the lightning shows at night. I loved this place. -Steve

Incredible high-end beach cottage! Must Stay!

What a fantastic property - we will definitely be coming back! The cottage was just recently renovated and the owners thought of everything. From sweet little furnishings to several seating areas to a BEAUTIFUL kitchen. Let alone, the house is simply beautiful. We had only one small issue (the WiFi went out because of the storm). The property team had someone to fix within 15 minutes! Needless to say, they were super responsive. We also had a chance to meet the owners - super kind and so sweet. They put in a lot of work on their house and it certainly shows. They went a step further and provided a ton of beach chairs, a cooler and a wagon. So thoughtful! The property is just a block from two different beach entrances. Also, behind the house is a organic market, a gas station for any late night snacks and walking distance to a few great restaurants. We will definitely be coming back!
