Location, location, location! This apartment was in a phenomenal location for us first time Curacao visitors. We were able to walk everywhere and only took a taxi when desired. Clean and spacious apartment with great views. We stayed a week, so it was nice that housekeeping came in the middle of the week. A few small details caused some disappointments. I paid a "surcharge" when I paid for the room, however, at check in I was asked to pay an additional 4% surcharge which was unexpected. The PDF directions sent for using the induction stove top/oven wouldn't open, so we couldn't use the stove top and winged it with the oven so that we could eat a few of our leftovers from restaurants. Likewise, there were no directions for how to use the Washer/Dryer so we just winged it. The website said that that we could ask to see the meter to manage electricity, however, that was not true b/c when asked we were told that there was no meter. So, we really couldn't monitor our Kwh usage throughout the stay. I have no idea if we will incur extra charges or not which is a little anxiety provoking. Lastly, there were no sheets or pillow cases for the pullout couch, so we piled blankets on it instead. Having said that, we did communicate with the property managers and they did respond to messages that were sent. So we would honestly still recommend this apartment to travelers. As long as they are aware of the above small details, it's honestly a good place to stay.
