Thank you for staying with us. I am not exactly sure what your charges are. I might suggest you contact both Travelocity and our hotel to discuss. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Pleasant staff and convenient location one block from Union station made this hotel a good choice for showing our family around town. The rooms were small but clean and with all the amenities you need. Comfy bed, big tv, charging stations. Food was reasonably priced for a hotel but not great. Plenty of amazing restaurants in the city or the food court below Union Station is always an option.

over rated over priced

Pros: Bathroom
Cons: the surprise charge for water, use of their phone ( most everyone has their own cell phone so this is a joke to charge for) and internet....
Location: Good location
This hotel was a huge disappointment. We had a room on top floor over looking capital that you could not see from bed. You had to go stand in front of window to see, Table and chairs in room arranged so back to window, T.V. on side wall that was ridiculous arrangements of room . A $19.95 charge per day to have 2 bottles of water in your room whether you used them or not and use of there phone and internet. This was an added charge to our credit card on top of hotel rate! No coffee or tea in room , no snack bar, bare bones room furnishings. The only nice thing was the bathroom!

The hotel was fine overall except for the mysterious $19.99 (plus tax) per day “facilities fee” that they charged, and which was not prominently advertised at all. Felt like a deceptive business practice. When I asked what that surprise fee was getting me, they said it was two bottles of water per day - which I didn’t need - and “complimentary WiFi”. For $19.99 per day kind of complimentary. Sad and unimpressive.

Terrible management

Pros: the room was nice
Cons: Have the management take courses on "Customer Service" as clearly they did not care bout their guests
Location: close to the Capitol and Union Station
Came to DC for the Presidential Inauguation and attended the Gala at this hotel so we decided to stay here. The food at the Gala, provided by the hotel, was terrible. The selection was minimal, the food was cold, the bartenders, hotel staff, were slow and incompetent and the banquet room was a dirty mess with uncleaned tables and dirty dishes all over the place. The room was hot and sweaty due to improper ventilation. The next day my wife and I decided to try the restaurant. What a mistake! First we were told to come back in an hour as they were full, eventhough there were plently of empty tables. And they would not even take our name for a reservation. When we came back, they told us again that we had to wait, but would not tell us how long the wait was, again eventhough there were plenty of empty tables. After complaining to the restaurant manager, who was very rude, my wife went to complain to the hotel management. The hotel manager was also extremely rude and condesending and offered no help at all. Finally after waiting another 10 minutes, we were seated. The food was ok at best. The resturant was clearly understaffed. We couldn't even get a cup of coffee in the mornings!!!

Comfortable, central for exploring Washington DC

Pros: Good Location.
Cons: Make the WiFi free. Reduce restaurant prices to a reasonable level.
Location: Great location for exploring the capital!
Comfortable hotel. Good for exploring the capitals sights. A shame that they charge for the use of their WiFi. The restaurant is rather expensive! Better to go elsewhere for breakfast!
