None of the rooms were ready at check in time. We were put on a list to call when our room was ready. At 3:20 I went up to ask and was told our room had been ready for a few minutes but no call. Some of the staff were rude in the breakfast area to multiple people. The area between the hotel and the museums are not safe to walk. Open drug use and people yelling at tourists and one lady was trying to pick a fight with a female tourist that was walking by. No parking for the hotel and the garage they use is $60 a night.

We apologize that your room was not ready upon arrival and the negative encounter you experienced at breakfast. Unfortunately, unsavory elements outside of the hotel are outside of our control, but we apologize on behalf of the city. Lastly DC is a non municipal parking city and parking is limited. Our rates for parking in the area are comparable to other hotels in the area.Thank you again for being our guest.

Clean, modern rooms. Helpful staff. Hotel parking was full but staff told me about a garage around the corner. Good location.
