The stay was below expectations. Additional water bottles were not provided by the staff, even though they appear to cost very little. The breakfast area was too small, and we had to wait around 15 minutes to find a place to sit. Basic items like toothpaste were not provided. Breakfast was served using plastic spoons and paper plates, which felt cheap and reduced the quality of the experience.

The room was lovely, location to the venue perfect and the morning breakfast delicious. Being my first time at the Hampton, I was disappointed by lack of courtesy, taking time to explain the details of check-in, parking, and just plain cheerfulness of the staff. Just a simple hello, how may I help you and maybe just a smile. When a guest is new to your hotel, friendliness can go a long way to making your stay a pleasant one.

The room looked clean, which was good to see. Overall, the stay was fine, but there were a few things that could be improved. The toilet was very low for height and not very comfortable. Also, I did not see anywhere on the website that parking requires an additional fee. Since you’re already staying at the hotel, it would be nice if parking was included. Breakfast was decent and met expectations.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were genuinely friendly and kind, which made us feel welcome right away. The location was great, with a beautiful view of downtown Washington, DC. My kids especially loved the free breakfast each morning—it was a perfect way to start our days. We would definitely stay here again!
