Great Location!

Couldn't beat this hotel for the price and location.  Just off Dupont Circle.  Amenities were great.  Worst thing about the room was that it was directly adjacent to the hotel's outdoor patio area.  So right out the window was a large patio area with chairs and tables.  Although not a lot of people were there during the day, it forced you to keep the curtains pulled if you wanted any privacy.  If you didn't, then no problem.  Bathroom was a little small.  Not conducive to a woman that needs to have SOME counterspace as there was absolutely none.  Otherwise, nothing but good things to say.  Oh yeah, $30/day for parking.  Staff was great.  Mini-starbucks in the lobby.  I'd stay there again.

Great place at a reasonable price

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, great staff
From the get-go, every staff member at the courtyard dupont circle was warm and courteous. The rooms were clean and modern, and the hotel location was perfect for all our needs. Now if only we could convince them to have room service, everyone would stay here...

This hotel is located in a fabulous historical district surrounded by tons of local restaurants.

Pros: Close restaurants
Cons: ice cream was $9.50/qt
The hotel is a little older style, however exceptionally clean and super polite staff. I love this area and would definitely stay here again!

Nice, hotel, bathroom was the drawback. no space to put toiletries

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
Cons: no counter around bathroom sink
This was a nice hotel, very nice staff, close to my conference. The main drawback was the lack of counter space in the bathroom to put toiletries, make-up, curling iron, etc. Otherwise it was very nice.

Weather cancelled my flight

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
After a severe storm cancellled all flights south, I found myself at Regan National. Luckily, that airport has an active travelers' aid station. After consulting with them, I was given a couple of hotel in the area. This Marriott had available rooms and also offered "distressed" travelers rates. I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel, the immediate neighborhood had a number of restaurants, a shopping center & a movie theatre. The staff was heplful & their shuttle service was available 24/7

Never again

I reserved a room by phone for my husband and I for the Inauguration and got a confirmation number. When we arrived at the hotel Jan 19th we were told our reservation had been moved to the Courtyard in Maryland. We were also told the room rate was $ per night and was always that rate. I was quoted a rate of $. We were forced to return home the same day because there was no where to stay. Marriott Courtyard did not honor our reservation. I would never use their services again.

A very nice time

The room was small but adequate --- clean and neat --- which is very important. The staff was very helpful and the prices are fair. There are a lot of restaurants and interesting shops in the area and personnel at the hotel were happy to guide us.
