Studio apartment is located on the sunny, second level of a carriage house with its own private entrance. Washer/Dryer unit is in the unit. Modern kitchen includes built-in microwave, pots & pans, dishes, etc. Full bathroom with bath and shower. Sheets, blankets, pillows, etc. supplied.
Upscale features throughout with lots of natural light and a churchyard view.
Guests have the carriage house studio apartment to themselves. Access is gained through a private entrance off of a public alley steps from the neighborhood street.
Self-controlled heating and air conditioning and Verizon FIOS television and Internet.
Centrally and ideally located in Washington D.C.'s urban and sophisticated Dupont Circle neighborhood, steps to the 14th Street restaurants, U Street entertainment, and 17th Street's village-like amenities including a Safeway grocery store, drycleaners, liquor stores, yoga studio, hardware store, McDonald's, two steakhouses and a host of other restaurants and sidewalk cafes.

We liked staying at the Carriage House. The location was perfect for our visit to DC - we loved being able to walk to several areas of interest, dining options, and bus stops for traveling further away. The property was clean, fully stocked with many items in the kitchen, and the windows allowed good lighting during the day. There were a few lightbulbs burnt out that needed to be replaced. Great communication with the owner during our stay.

Perfect pied-à-terre in ideal neighborhood!!
I cannot say strongly enough how much fun it was to stay in the heart of Dupont Circle - so many coffee shops and wine happy hours, so little time! The historic coach house size was just right for me (and kitty). I'd sit at the little kitchen-bar area with a laptop to work in the morning and then head out for meetings, easily catching an Uber any time of day. Having the washer and dryer was a marvelous convenience and I used it often. Host Lance was fully responsive and showed an interest in my comfort and safety. Really enjoyed my time here and would recommend to others!
