The neighborhood was sketchy and staff warned us not to venture out at night. Our tv was broken and I ended up with some kind of bites on my body after the first night. The walls must have been made of paper because we could literally hear our neighbors on both sides all night long, crying babies loud laughing, talking and activities... we will not stay here again

Leisure visit with family.

We stayed here on a very busy couple of days for the D.C. area. The city was celebrating the victory of the Capitals winning the Stanley Cup. The Cambria hotel staff did not miss a beat as they welcomed us to the hotel and immediately made us feel at home making sure we had enough towels and even getting some ice for us. I witnessed the general manager stop and pick up a small piece of debris and this action was consistent with the rest of the staff’s attention to detail. The property is only a short cab ride from all of the national mall attractions while still CO located with several convenient restaurants and even a large grocery store directly across the street. We enjoyed parking in the same building at a very competitive rate. Overall a great property.

Lovely hotel, lacked Advertised amenities

Cambria is a lovely DC hotel and was very clean and appeared well appointed. The location was very good and there are great restaurants nearby within walking distance . BUT- That said I would also say it’s extremely overpriced for the lack of promised amenities. I requested a large room with a view got the handicapped room with a view of the Building next door’s brick wall. But that wasn’t a huge deal because the rooms were nice. Requested alarm clock to be fixed as it woke up our family at 3am and 5 am.. and couldn’t shut it off.. they sent someone up initially who just unplugged it instead of fixing it had to call again—other issues w/services-I had to call or ask at least twice for replacements and listed at one point for the front desk they included: no replacement towels even though housekeeping claimed “there was a card I could put out and request clean towels” and when having a coffee Kcup or two they were not replaced unless I asked as well as creamer. That’s not practised of the best hotels. We should not have to ask for the replacement of these amenities. Tissues again had to be requested and lastly the pool was out of service being cleaned for two days ! Cleaned on the last day but we couldn’t use it since it was so packed. If you want to be a trendy & clean hotel but don’t care about the pool or a amenities, even if you’re paying over $200 a night , then these issues won’t matter to you..

Nice stay

Found a great deal, ended up being a nice stay in a good location. Parking was convenient, safe but overpriced. Beds comfortable and room was clean. Enjoyed the rooftop view of DC. Staff were great!

Almost perfect

The room was spacious and comfortable. But in the bathroom there were no floor mat and it was a bit dangerous getting in a wet tiles so I had to use a regular towel which wasn’t replaced on the second day. The bathroom wasn’t clean after the housekeeping got to the room (the bed and room were ok)I

DC w/ 20+ teenagers for an American History Trip!

The hotel was a little farther from everything than I would have liked but there was a metro 2 blocks away so it wasn't an issue. The hotel staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The kids loved the rooftop terrace. If I had a complaint it would be that breakfast at the hotel is an absurd price so we didn't eat there. All in all, I give them a big thumbs up!

Nice Hotel.... Staff??

Booked this hotel because of the location and great price. Once we checked in, it was downhill from there. After being on a 6 hour flight the staff wouldn't let me check in until exactly 3:01 although we were only 6 mins early. The room service was terrible. And the clerk Alex?? She's some piece of work. Called my gf a bxtch and said if we wanted better to spend more money on a "nice" hotel. Be aware
