Location location location

When we checked in, we were early, before check in time. The woman behind the desk said she would look to find us a room. We had no issue waiting. She sent us up to a room that had 2 double beds. My girlfriend and I were in town for my birthday and had booked a queen. Checking our reservation comfirming we had booked a queen, I went back down to the desk. I explained and said I didn't mind waiting. The manager came around the corner with no interest in even addressing me, completely unprofessional, and just barked that "well I know we are out of queens" as he walked off into the back. I smiled at the desk and just insisted that I would be happy when they found me an room that would accommodate my request. They sent me back up with a new room number. This was an elevator shaft room, indeed with a queen, however it's what we used to called a "midget room". It's space is eaten up by the way it's placed, in this case by an elevator shaft. No worries, it was nice and cozy so we went about our agenda in the city. While getting ready I noticed the AC unit wasn't working. Called in a fix because I like it cold when I sleep. It never did work right during our stay.
