The room was clean and comfortable, and our night’s sleep was followed by a good breakfast with plenty of choice. Staff were friendly and we were able to park in the hotel’s car park. This is a very unique quaint Hotel. Rooms are comfortable and modern in an old style original hotel. Food in restaurant fantastic. Walks are good from the Hotel to the river Thames and around town to the Abbey. Loved our stay here.

Great old hotel in the middle of a lovely unspoilt village. Very good parking, lovely clean room, excellent service but above all, very dog friendly. A good English breakfast prepared us for our onward journey. Great place, will stay again.
