Great Location

Location is Great. Nice houses. Everyone around is super friendly. This is my 2nd time staying here. Dog friendly. I love this spot. Just a few minutes to town.

Sister/Brother vacation

My brother and I really enjoyed our stay. The location was great as we did some hiking in Waldport and Yachats. Having the ocean right outside our back porch door with access to the beach for our morning and evening walks was a plus. Weather was great and the sunsets were stunning! The two bedroom house met all our needs. If I didn’t live so far away (Minnesota) I would stay here again.

Annual Oregon Coast Trip

This was our fourth trip to the coast in past three years and our second time at the Sanderling Cottages. We tried a couple of other spots along the coast, but ended up coming back to the cottages. The location and beach are our favorite part and the cottage is nicely updated and well equipped. This unit had more signs of wear but was still nice. The cleanliness of the unit could have been better. There was sand and hair on the floors, dust bunnies in the corners, and the kitchen felt a little grimy too. But overall, still a great place!

A Treasure

Our family has stayed in many properties on the Oregon Coast. We chose this property because my daughter has a dog that we needed to bring on the trip. I loved this property and would stay there again anytime!

Very nice updated ocean front property

This condo is very nicely updated in a beautiful oceanfront setting. A garbarge disposal would be a good addition to the property. If there are guests in the upstairs unit you can hear their footsteps. Overall a great location & a very enjoyable stay.

Clean, comfortable, and close to the beach!

This was a wonderful dog-friendly place for my family to stay at the coast for the weekend. Clean and well stocked. Comfortable beds and furnishings. Beautiful views of the ocean and close to the beach. We would definitely stay here again!

Easy walk to beach...

The unit is nicely decorated and outfitted. The view from the deck isn't as nice as the upstairs unit, but it is super easy to just walk out the back door to the beach. Parking was easy. This is a good way to get away from the city, but if you need to get something at the grocery store, it is a short drive away.

Beautiful cottage and perfect location!

We loved our stay here. It was clean, updated, and had everything we needed. the location was perfect. We loved being right there on the beach and we were close to Yachats and Waldport. We even took a jaunt to Newport. My girls were ready to move in. We will be back again!

The ocean

We had a great time, weather was perfect. I’d give this place 5 stars all the way except for one thing…….. went to turn down the bed in the master bedroom and found a huge blood soiled bottom sheet. So I tore the the bed apart and washed the sheets in the hottest water possible and low and behold the soiled sheet was clean, so clearly that bed had NOT been changed prior to our stay and had it not been soiled we wouldn’t of known it wasn’t changed. That’s totally unacceptable in my book !! If it weren’t for the dirty sheets the cottage was great and the beach was beautiful !! Whoever cleaned the place before we arrived would be fired for neglecting something as disgusting as a blood soiled sheet, not to mention the health hazard !!!

Saunderling Cottage

We had a wonderful stay. The beach is about 50 yards away. Newport, Yachats and Florence are not far to drive. Loved this little town.

30 year Anniversary

It was the perfect place to spend a long weekend to celebrate our 30 year Anniversary. The house is super cute and the access to the beach was easy. I'm not sure you could get the house closer to the beach. We will likely stay here again in the future.

Nice until upstairs guests arrived...

Very clean, new, and comfortable rental. Location was nice, right on the beach, pet friendly, we were quite excited and the first few hours were great! Then the guests staying upstairs arrived. Every step sounded like a group of Irish dancing was occurring. We felt lucky they were not night owls, so overall it was not a one-star stay, but we would never stay in this particular unit again, unless we got the upstairs unit.

Very nice pictures don’t do it justice

Very nice property and a wonderful stay. Great beach access and clean updated home. It is a duplex so sometimes neighbors above could get a bit noisy but overall a great stay we would do it again.

The bed was great. Nice to stay at a beach home that has nice decor.

You need to equip your kitchen with more dishes. 2 with wine glasses one bowl not adequate for a house that suppose to sleep 8.
