Great spot!

Exceptionally clean, well-equipped and very good communication with the property manager, Danielle. It’s about a mile from the main shopping and dining areas but that made for a very good walk!

Lovely layout and well appointed unit. Disappointed in comfort of the bed. Some difficulty with inactive codes for entry to complex. But overall it was a lovely stay and would definitely rebook again

Everything you could ask for

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay the condo was well equipped and clean. Short walk to all amenities and the on-site facilities were everything you need. I have definitely saved this a a favorite!

Awesome Condo - very clean and stocked with neccessities.

We have stayed in the Waikoloa Beach condos many times and this condo is very clean and well kept also stocked with all your necessary items that are not always common. ie: foil, Saran Wrap, paper towels, salt & pepper along with all the kitchen items you would want. There is no island view persay but we weren't in the condo much. We would definitely stay there again.

Our one week adventure

The accommodation was exactly as shown in photos. Was very clean! The kitchen supply is a bit of a mish mash but utilitarian. It did lack a kettle of some sort but a pan sufficed, as I am a tea drinker and not coffee. Kitchen is also showing its age. Appliances have been updated but cabinetry is starting to sag. The bed was very comfortable, plenty of towels for shower and beach/pool. Also beach chairs & cooler in closet for your use. Some games are hidden in bottom drawer of bedroom (look there). Laundry access was tight with a large tub of cleaning supplies on the floor but quite usable. Thank you for the detergent for our use. BBQ’s are located close by near the tennis courts, a short walk of 1 minute. Communication with the property manager was nil. I want to chalk this up to technical issues for everyone’s sake. Overall our week here was a grand adventure with so many sights, hikes and history! Thank you Hawai’i for all the Aloha shared! 💚

Wonderful relaxing time

Very nice clean condo with everything we needed. It was perfect for our 8 day visit. This was just perfect for our needs. Perfect size kitchen with great choices of pans and utensils. We would love to come back! We enjoyed walking to the beach and being close to shopping at the King's Shops and Queens Marketplace. We found wonderful restaurants around the area Lava Lava Beach Resort,

Shores

Gated and private complex. Spotless on arrival. Excellent accommodations, nice decor and artwork. Quiet and relaxing, good pool and exercise room. Didn't use the tennis courts. If you enjoy walking, you can visit the Shops, the "A" beach and the Hilton properties. Well equipped with paper towels, condiments, coffee filters, laundry and dishwasher supplies, etc. The bed and furniture were comfortable. While everything was adequate, there is always room for improvements. We would have a couple of suggestions - more silverware, a colander, and perhaps a medium saucepan would have been helpful.

The condo was lovely and spacious with good amenities. The property manager was fantastic. She responded immediately when I noted the condo did not have some necessities like a broom or vacuum. Our major dissatisfaction was the bed. Every time you would turn over the bed would rock and it was not comfortable. The bed needs to be replaced.

Sparkling Clean Walk to Beach

The home was sparkling clean and very well appointed with new high end appliances. The view from the huge balcony was private and beautiful looking out over hardened lava flows and the mountain of Mauna Kea. One of the best beaches and sunset viewing on the Big Island is a short walk. The home is very well located to enjoy all the best beaches.

Wonderful Place to Stay in Waikaloa!

We stayed four nights in this artfully decorated condo, that had everything we needed!. A quiet location with a great view of Mauna Loa, it was withing easy walking distance of at least one restaurant, and 1.5 miles from the King's and Queen's Marketplaces for shopping. Would definitely stay there again.

Great week in Wailoloa!

We enjoyed our week here very much! We have stayed in the Wailoloa resort area several times, and enjoy sightseeing in the northern part of the island. The condo is beautiful and has everything we could want! It does not have a water view but we enjoyed seeing the sun come over the mountains each morning. The lanai is very spacious and a nice place to relax and eat a meal.

50th Birthday Trip

I booked this trip as a 50th birthday gift to me, as I've been going to Hawai'i nearly every year. This is the first time I've stayed in The Shores, and the unit was exactly as it appears in the listing. No issues at all with check-in or check-out, and the unit was clean upon arrival. A few small challenges here and there, but those were quickly and effectively resolved by Dani, the property manager. The complex itself is very well maintained, and I spent a lot of time in the pool area as well. Overall, I would definitely recommend this unit and complex to anyone for their stay.

Big Island enjoyment once again

Well appointed condo. Clear instructions for check-in and codes. Clean, good location, breakfast on lanai every morning, nice pool and spa, very quiet(most of time). 20 minute walk to beach. Didn't rate a 5 because of 3 incidents. Awakened one night at 11 PM due to movement of furniture and operation of a noisy vacuum cleaner in above condo. Lasted 10+ minutes. 3 nights later were awakened at 1:30 AM with noisy movement and placement of furniture in same condo above us. Sounded like the shuffling of furniture on a dance floor! Also lasted 10+ minutes. Then on morning of departure, while packing and showering at 9:00 AM, a repairman showed up at the front door to service the air conditioning unit. Told him to contact whomever scheduled him that he can come back after 11:00 after we have left.

Great property

We had a great experience at this property. The unit is very spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. The property ground is beautiful and I really enjoyed having my cup of coffee on the lanai and watching tropical birds flying around in the morning.

Great location with everything you need

Great location. Close to restaurants, shops and beach. It was clean and great space for a couple. It has a nice outdoor lanai. Kitchen had what we needed to do some cooking. Bed was comfortable. Check in was easy.
