This place was FABULOUS!! Katerina was just wonderful and came out to collect us when the taxi dropped us off in the wrong location.The small patio on the grand canal was just wonderful!

Great apartment

Overall had great stay here. Check in was easy, apartment was clean and in good area. Host arranged transportation to airport which made checking out easy.

Perfect location

The property was beautiful and perfectly located. Close enough to the train station to walk and wonderful canal view. Perfect place to fully experience Venice.

Stunning Apartment and Location

Absolutely stunning apartment with the most amazing view from the terrace onto the Grand Canal . Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend anyone to stay here it’s fabulous! The view , the apartment, the area , the ease of using the water buses . Venice was amazing.

We had a three generational stay and loved having an apartment. The staff was terrific and available with a call. They were helpful with advice and handling our requests. I absolutely recommend groups stay together in an apartment and Views on Venice made it easy and seamless! I will stay with you on my next visit to Venice! The apartment was not spotless clean (but neither is my house)

A beautiful location

Great to watch the boats go by very updated furniture and fixings. Easy check in. If you book a direct taxi to the airport they can pick you up right at your dock! There were a bunch of little black flies in the primary - they didn't bother us that bad but maybe a bit of a bug spray

Great little property on the water

Great property, loved the decor and layout. Convenient and quiet overall, especially as it is on the waterfront. Check in process was great, Marco was very informative and helped explain everything. The area just to the north had some good restaurants and was away from the crowds. Some nice market stands, grocery store and coffee shops nearby. Overall we loved it. Others have commented about the smell of the trash collection, however we did not notice this. Would recommend.

Lovely place on the Grand Canal

The appartment was comfortable, well laid out and nicely decorated. The terrace directly on the Grand Canal was an absolute bonus, with an amazing view. It was nice arriving by watertaxi right on the doorstep. Good proximity to the San Marcuola vaporetto-stop and the Despar supermarket. Minor point, but could have done with some more wine glasses (only 3 available) and cutlery. Also missed some kitchen towels and dishcloths, so we went out and bought some ourselves.

Stunning grand canal home!

This property was fantastic! It was everything we were hoping for. We stayed here for most of a week and it was a wonderful spot for exploring Venice and the larger lagoon region.The main floor balcony and sitting area over the grand canal were wonderful for morning and evening lounging and watching the taxis, vaporetto, and gondolas go by. The bedrooms were both very comfortable and when all the windows were closed the place was very quiet. The upstairs bedroom balcony was a wonderful spot as well.The place is not far from the train station at all. Canareggio was a fantastic neighborhood to stay in. There were produce vendors in the piazza closest to us every day and there are plenty of shops and two great grocery stores nearby. The kitchen was very well appointed.We would happily stay here again.

Beautiful apartment on grand canal

Loved the views of the grand canal and little patio for sitting at night. Easy walk to train station, restaurants and 20 minute walk to Rialto bridge and nearby tourist attractions. Wish there would have been coffee pods for Nespresso machine. Main drawback was the smell in the mornings as trash boats dock right next to apartment for several hours and the smell really permeates even with windows shut.

Perfect location, excellent customer service!

We had a great stay at La Loggia Grand Canal! The view could not be beat, and the location was perfect. It was so amazing to arrive in the private water taxi and be dropped off literally steps from the front door of the apartment. We were able to walk all over Venice from this apartment. Views on Venice was extremely helpful with answering questions and helping us reserve transportation to and from the apartment. Amir was extremely prompt in meeting us at the apartment the day we checked in. He was very welcoming. He also gave us a city map, and he took the time to point out several different locations of interest on the map. Thank you Amir! While it was very convenient for the trash pick up to be right next to the apartment, the orange plastic "fence" right next to the balcony enclosing the trash was a bit of an eye sore. The apartment was great. Both couples did agree it would be nice to have a hanging shelf in the showers so you don't have to put all the toiletries on the floor.

The location is marvellous. From the vaporetto stop to all the amenities close by, navigating Venice from La Loggia was a pleasure. Watching the action on the Grand Canal was mesmerizing and on some occasions thrilling! Marco our host, deserves a special mention. He was super organized, reliable and prompt to respond to our requests. Some of the blinds on the second floor need some re-stringing. The bathroom door needs adjustments for it to fully open and close. The faucet in this bathroom needs some plumbing job.

Lovely Apartment and Location

This is a great place to stay in Venice. Unfortunately while we were there (5 nights), the stove was not functioning and neither was the tv, very inconvenient as we would have liked to sat on the balcony and enjoyed dinner at the apartment on a couple of evenings. The people who showed us the apartment were aware of neither of these things. We are required to pay for any damage. I believe that the owner should have offered us a discount of, say 50 euros a night for the inconvenience caused. Peter Richardson

Great Venice apartment in a great location

The apartment was modern and charming. It has 1st and 2nd level balconies overlooking the Grand Canal. It was very clean, well-appointed and Wi-Fi was incredibly fast and reliable. Accent lighting and décor were impressive. Having a washer/dryer was very convenient and the air conditioning worked well. Marco met us there when we arrived and gave us a city map and recommendations for things to see and a great restaurant which turned out to be one of our favorites. Pre-arrival communications with Annalisa and Marta were great! The location was quiet, central to many attractions and a 5 minute walk to the San Marcuola-Casino water bus station. Safety did not appear to be an issue but the extra locks at the entrance and lower balcony were appreciated. In summary, the apartment was perfect!

3 days in venice

The entire experience was lovely and the property is a beauty! Easily accessible, with great support from the team that administrates the property. They arranged for the water taxi, then we were met at the property by someone who gave us all the necessary info to enjoy the apartment/mini palazzo. It is gorgeous!!! Our family thoroughly consider it to have been a highlight of our stay! It is well equipped; we enjoyed the livingroom with a great view of the Grand Canale! Supermarkets nearby, no keys- a code to get in, great kitchen, two bathrooms, two floors, easy in and out with suitcases, as access is on the ground floor. The team also helped with the water taxi on check-out. Great showers, hot water, washing machine if needed. Defifnitely recommended! It's a perfect way to experience Venice!!! Lovely!

Enjoyed our trip

We enjoyed the stay at La Loggia Grand Canal. 10 minute walk from the train station so if not much luggage an easy trip without having to board the vaporetto or pay for a private taxi. I have been to Venice many times but it was my fiancée’s first. The home itself was beautiful though a bit more worn than I expected for the price. The view from the first floor balcony is unbeatable - vaporettos, gondolas going by and you can view it all while sipping your coffee from the comfort of your lodges. My only complaint is the dock immediately to the left of the balcony is used for trash boats to pick up trash and they dock there for most of the morning EVERY morning until 12-1 (even Sunday which the trash pickup schedule indicated no pickup on Sundays) which I did not expect. Overall I would give this accommodation 3-4/5 stars and would consider staying again though I may look for an alternative in the same price range to avoid the garbage pickup each day which hampered our enjoyment of the balcony.

Our own private Grand Canal Balcony

The two of us had to put off our stay at this gorgeous location three years, because you know pandemic, but it was worth the wait. We came straight from the airport on a water taxi set up by Views on Venice, right to our private dock only feet from the door to this two level, sleek paradise view. Met at the dock by a VoV rep who showed us around and left us with plenty of information, we got to discover Venice from this quiet, yet convenient location. This place is a short walk from all the supplies you would need and close to vaporetto docks as well as the train station...yet the neighborhood has a very local feel. The insides are just as gorgeous as the photos. Sleek and modern interior, with a great use of the plentiful space. We enjoyed cooking a couple of meals there and loved the inversion cooktop in the kitchen. The upstairs bedroom with its own private second floor balcony is a great place to wake up to the sunrise, and watch the heart of Venice get going each morning as the boats dock outside to deliver supplies for the islands. Which brings us to the view. The view is amazing, you have not one but two balconies overlooking the Grand Canal. We spent multiple early evenings sitting out and watching the sun set from the first floor balcony as we enjoyed a bottle of wine. Even raised a glass or two to tourists heading by on their vaporetto as they took photos of us "locals" sitting on our overlook. The view is magical, we miss it already.

If you are over budget by $500 or less, RENT THIS UNIT

We overspent our budget to rent here. However, after staying here and learning that this unit has several "priceless" benefits that we never expected. We are directly on the Grand Canal. Breakfast over hanging the canal. Trash pick up is quite unique. You have to be available when the water trash pick up barges come by. Nope, not here. You can just open your door and hand the trash to the trash pick up barge or trash carts. You want to use the Water Bus to get around. A quick YouTube education and it is a breeze. 5-15 minutes to any and everything. Now, about the unit. Quite special. Very comfortable. Very spacious by any European standard. Modern appointments'. TV, (just check to make sure the batteries and browser has been updated. The showers are Lux. I never had an emotion that was fearful or unsafe. The rental agents met us on time and we were unrushed while following the instructions.5 out of 5 recommendation. My wife is Dutch and I an American. We live in my hometown in Maryland. This was our first visit and our hopes, dreams and expectations were high. No disappointment here.

Fantastisch

Wir haben die Tage in der hervorragend ausgestatteten Loggia am Canale Grande sehr genossen. Wir wurden von Ihrer Mitarbeiterin (Name leider vergessen) sehr herzlich empfangen und sie hat uns viele wertvolle Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt in Venedig vermittelt. Die Wohnung können wir bestens empfehlen - nicht Daheim und doch Zuhause ! Mit einem Aperitif auf dem Balkon sitzen und dem Treiben auf dem Canale Grande zuschauen, das war für uns ein Hochgenuss. Margrit, Max und Oliver Verbessern könnte man - Küchentücher und Schneidebretter haben wir leider nicht gefunden - sonst war alles tipp topp.

On the Grand Canal in historic accommodation but with contemporary comfort

Location, Location, Location. Fully renovated and quiet but close to the action. The bins get picked up from the jetty nearby but Venice life happens on the canal so you also get the gondolas, ferries, pleasure boats, taxis and stunning skies. Located on a bend in the Grand Canal the views are expansive and the sunrises and sunsets are stunning The stairs to the upstairs bedroom are quite steep so the rails could be reinforced - one side was a bit loose, and some non-slip tread perhaps. Just a maintenance issue - easily resolved.
