Basically, everything was good. Parking is good, location is good. We had a pet-friendly room. And it was not clean. It would be good to have some eggs for breakfast at least. Other than it's a good budget hotel

Location is perfect from Bridgeport Station, only 10 minute walk and offers great shuttle service to the airport. I loved the cozy Scottish feel as I am Scottish! ;) Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was huge, bigger than we thought. We just were surprised at the noise from the traffic so it was not so easy for a restful sleep.

Our first room we went into still had food on the floor and a pill, there was a hair on a towel still. Second room was better. The breakfast was limited. We could not have the milk and there was no substitute.

Very friendly and courteous front desk and breakfast staff. We planned to stay here for 12 nights so we inquired for a room lock safe. The local maintenence person went out of his way to find an available room with a safe and esorted us to the room to ensure it was available and functional.

Room was large, shower was good, bed was comfy. Could have done with a deep clean.. we specifically chose this hotel for the free airport shuttle but the shuttle only runs at specific times so we were unable to use it and had to pay for a taxi. I think from 11am -> 4pm there is no shuttle service, so quite a big gap of no shuttle. The breakfast was a bit grim too, luckily it’s free so can’t complain too much.

The property is old and out dated including all furnishings which we knew when we booked it. Normally, this would not be an issue for me if well kept and clean. It can often even add character. But this hotel was not the case. Our room was FILTHY! You could see the dust built up around the edge of the carpet and behind the furniture, on the lamps, headboards, etc. The white bedding was a greyish color it was questionable if it had even been changed between guests. A couple of our towels looked like rags with tattered edges and stains. The carpet was dirty. Furniture was all scarred and beat up. One headboard had some kind of cack dried all across it as did the very gross wallpaper on the bathroom walls. Behind the door in the bathroom were long black hairs that clearly didn't belong to us. The bathroom smelled like urine and the door and handle was very dirty, too. Although cheaper to stay here, it was not worth the savings to us. We will not stay here again and would not recommend.

I spent 7 uneventful nights in Vancouver and relocated to a hotel closer to the airport for my last night. The reviews were decent. I noticed the HVAC was super dusty, the TV & the phone didn’t work in our room so we had to switch rooms. I developed a horrible cough, returned home and was bedridden for a few days after my return. I just returned from urgent care where I was diagnosed with atypical pneumonia and a sinus infection.

So disappointed in this stay First, I booked the hotel because I had a 6 a.m. flight the next morning and wanted to be close and use the free shuttle. When I arrived, I discovered the shuttle doesn't run that early in the morning after October 1 so I had to spend money on an Uber. Second, the room was very small and outdated. The hotel is old and hasn't been upgraded at all. Finally, I woke up at midnight to discover water dripping from the ceiling above my bed! Clearly, there had been a water leak before as I could see water stains on the ceiling when I went to bed but never expected a full on shower in my room! I called the front desk and the initial respond was "is it bad?" I said YES. The front desk clerk came up to look and didn't seem surprised- he said "oh someone must be taking a shower upstairs" as if this is a normal thing. Long story short is that I had to switch rooms in the middle of the night when I had a 3:30 a.m. wake up call. Needless to say, I didn't get much sleep and the entire stay was extremely disappointing. The staff wasn't that apologetic and didn't offer to discount my stay or make up for the inconveiences.

The hotel is very tired and badly needs an update. The toilet seat was not attached to the toilet, the toilet paper holder was broken, the carpet in the room was very worn, the room smelled musty. One good thing was the beds were comfortable. The complementary breakfast was subpar. The toaster only had 2 slots of 4 that worked with a piece of paper with an X on it, over the 2 slots that were not working. The “hot food” was premade pancakes and waffles that we were told to microwave. There was limited selection of cereals. The oatmeal offered was packaged add boiled water type of oatmeal. It was really underwhelming and not worth attending. We opted to eat breakfast out after the first morning. I am wondering why this hotel is even an option on your website.
