Joyous - great views from the hot tub

Pros: The valet service. The drivers to town The room is bliss The spa is bliss.
Cons: Tighter customer service.
We enjoyed our stay and I was left wondering if 6 star hotels exist. This is listed as a 5 star yet little things bothered me. One example is I left my electric toothbrush in the spa and the next morning when I called down there, they said yes, it's here, but didn't offer to bring it to my room. No towels were at the roof top pool. We had to ask for more to be brought up. Restroom in lobby was out of toilet paper. Little things, yes and I sound snobby, but for the price of these rooms, and the 5 star rating, I would expect 150% perfection.

The Arabelle was wonderful.

Gorgeous hotel just steps from the gondola. The ski valet was awesome. The Tavern restaurant on site was fabulous. Great customer service there by Daniel! I high recommend this property.

Amazing hotel

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
The hotel rooms are even more extravagant in person than they are online. From the moment we arrived we felt waited on hand and foot. The spa on the roof had a beautiful view and it's easy to walk everywhere. I can't imagine a better place to stay in Vail for any price! Plus, the fireplaces in every room was an unexpected bonus.

Total gold chain experience.

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
The hotel and staff were wonderful , I only walked two steps out of my skis and they were gathered up by the staff. My boots were stored at the same place on a heater, all of this with a nice place to sit and adjacent to a water cooler, and apple cider jug. The only down side was a totally worthless Concierge. She was not present most of the time and helpless when she was available, they need to change this. otherwise all was just wonderful!

Great Hotel, poor bed

Let me start out by saying the hotel is beautiful, and the amenities are fantastic. However, we did run into what I consider to be a huge disappointment considering the quality and five star status of the hotel. In short, we had a king size bed in our room, # 320. Be forewarned, the mattress has a huge rut in the middle, meaning the middle of the bed was substantially lower than the sides. While sleeping, my girlfriend and I kept sliding towards one another and we woke up several times literally peeling ourselves off each other. Moving towards the edge of the bed felt like climbing up stairs; during the night, this is not something we enjoyed. On the second morning, our backs were in a lot of pain and I elected not to ski because of it. I was disappointed as skiing was the primary reason for my visit. I complained to hotel management. I was told no management was available. When I insisted, I spoke to the gentlemen at the front desk who said he was “in charge” His response was “Hotel management didn’t feel this was a problem.” I need to comment that no one even came to look at the problem. Needless to say, I expected a lot more. For this reason, I will not be coming back, nor would I recommend.

Gorgeous hotel and wonderful staff

From the initial welcome to the final checkout this was a first class experience. Clint the valet and Samir at the front desk were noteworthy for their warm and professional courtesy. I look forward to returning to the Arrabelle

Awesome!!!

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet
I could not believe the price we paid for this amazing resort! It was a beautiful hotel. Great Lionshead location with yummy places to eat and right at the base of the gondola. Especially loved the breakfast at Centro V and swimming on the roof! We had a getaway and left our son with grandparents - but it was so kid-friendly that we are going back in a few months as a family!

Always nice

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
We stayed at the Arrabelle in 2009 after our honeymoon, and were treated to a wonderful experience, and truly felt well taken care of. A year later we come back for the anniversary, and the experience was still good, but not the A+ we had the year before. The people are always friendly and willing to help, they have Volvos that can drive you around in case it snows. The location is a bit off from Vail itself, but in the last few years Lionshead has really taken off, and there is a quite a bit to do there. The skating rink is awesome, and the food around the hotel is definitely worth a short walk. In short, this is a very good hotel in Vail.
